No question that Sanford would have my vote. As Buckley said many times: vote for the most conservative candidate that can win. Colbert is a member of the Democrat party...enough said.

Charleston and Dorchester are the only counties reporting so far. Sanford should have a lot of strength in Beaufort (military presence, Bluffton, Hilton Head). Romney won there with 58.2%.

Big news if Sanford wins this thing without the help of the GOP.

I just hope that Sanford, if he wins, doesn’t spend any more tax payer money on trips to Argentina. I think it is best for his family that he wins and ends up in Washington DC. His family has suffered enough putting up with his crap. His poor kids had their father break into the house. Let’s put them out of their misery and send him to Washington. That is the main reason I want him to win. He will be the main topic for 2014 with out party but we should be able to overcome it.

No but he will be in court on Thursday for trespassing charges. Those are the facts. After he is found not guilty (I don’t see how he can explain himself) then the House can bring him up on Ethics charges. Isn’t that just great? We have dug ourselves another hole. We seem to love losing it appears. 2012 was bad enough but if we lose because of this deeb in 2014, what have we really won?

What are you on? Obviously not what you need to be on, which is chill pills. Ask your doctor if chill pills are right for you.

The comeback was complete when he defeated Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch, the sister of political satirist Stephen Colbert. With 87 percent of the precincts reporting, Sanford had 54 percent of the vote.

Personally facts are what matter. All I care about is that he does not make himself the main topic of 2014. He was all over the liberal stations this morning. Hopefully he will vote conservative but their is no proof of that.

He voted conservative when he was in Congress before.

Hate on him all you want for adultery but insinuating he’s suddenly a RINO is dishonest and disgusting.
