As the congressional investigation into the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, continues to heat up, State Department spokesman Patrick Ventrell told reporters on Monday that the administration is allowing survivors of the attack and other Department employees to come forward and tell the truth about what happened.
“We have always encouraged any State Department employee who wants to share their story and tell the truth,” Ventrell said on Monday, according to the Washington Post.
But a letter the State Department’s Acting Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs Thomas Gibbons sent to Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on the same day tells a completely different story. Gibbons was responding to a request from Graham for the administration to allow Congress to interview the five Diplomatic Security agents who survived the attack.

The State Department says it is not suppressing whistleblower accounts of the attack, but it is continuing to keep survivors of the attack from Congress. While those survivors ultimately may not become whistleblowers if they choose not to come forward, Congress cannot even attempt to communicate with them because the State Department is hiding their identities.
But there were more survivors than the five state dept officials. Where are they and why haven’t /can’t we hear from them
These would be the guys who were on point and saw no protest. Just an attack. They would blow up the whole fabricated fairy tale told to the American people by the White Hut.
Well, nobody cares because no body knows and the reason is because no one in the media has had the slightest interest! All the media wonders about it who will be the next major league athlete to come out of the closet!
Whomever it was that told Romney to knock it off during that debate and shut up any further comments about Benghazi, should be "outed" and find out exactly why someone very high up has the power to pull the strings to keep the lid on this thing - and why!
That's one thing I'd like to know.
I'm thinking there is "something rotten in Denmark" and many in the GOP know it and want to help keep the lid on "it."
Yep. Waiting to see what kind of surprise happens tomorrow that causes all Benghazi hearing broadcasts to be preempted.

There used to be a thing called “Contempt of Congress”. I remember it from when I was a kid.
Lyndsey-Poo cannot redeem himself by any act. He is a Progressive and a neoconservative; both love and salivate over BIG government. Very likely. The two ex-SEALs who were killed were. Or perhaps NSA or one of the other alphabet soup of secret, semi-secret or “don’t officially exist” agencies the government uses to do things they don’t wish to admitt doing.

In a half a day we shall see where this is all going. I’m going to hold my tongue until after what we witness during that hearing.
Congress might go and talk to them. Can’t have their stories getting out.

Gibbons wrote that one of the five agents who survived “is currently recovering at a local military hospital [EIGHT MONTHS LATER] ” and “the other four have returned to duty.”
“All are security professionals, and we are committed to ensuring their security as they return to the field,” Gibbons continued. “Should their identities become public, they may become targets, putting their lives, as well as those of their families and the people they protect, at increased risk.””

Obama had Sunni buddies in the Al Qaeda cadre that attacked the US consulate at Benghazi. Why else would it be that Obama failed to give presidential authorization for our military to enter Libya’s sovereign space to save the lives of those who later died there? This is the ultimate result of Obama’s middle Eastern “apology tour” for America’s so called neo colonial era.Obamas apology tour ideology has now killed our own people.This is treason.
This is political expediency at its worst. Obama traded US lives for the sake of maintaining communications with his Sunni friends via the Muslim Brotherhood.Libya’s arsenal was being parceled out to terrorist organizations such as Hamas by Obama for the purpose of attacking Israel.
Obama lied and Americans died.
