The biggest news this week about the 2016 presidential election is not New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s weight-loss surgery.
Nor is it those on the right rallying against immigration legislation backed by Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. The big story is Benghazi, because it involves the frontrunner, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. And the implications are serious.
Washington is on the edge of its seat as the House Oversight committee gets ready to hear testimony from whistleblowers who say that the Obama administration botched the response to the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate and then covered up the nature of the raid.
While Democrats express outrage that Republicans are “politicizing” the tragic events that led to the first killing of a U.S. ambassador since the Carter administration, everyone now agrees that not only was the situation mishandled but that the Obama administration didn’t come clean.

RE: I don’t like the title of this article...I think we need to focus on justice for the victims and their families.
Unfortunately, the politics of this issue ( i.e., who wins or who loses or which party comes out on top politically ) is the focus of the media.
Even as we speak there are already voices on the left ( e.g. Juan Williams ) complaining about the “cost” of an investigation at a time when money is tight. (They are only concerned about cost when the Dems are at the receiving end of things ).

IMO, this whole affair is coming to light now because someone on the inside of the Dem party wants her out.
She is too old, too white, and too corporate for someone in a position of influence there.

Considering she is not getting any younger, having been thrown under the bus so many times, who knows if Chessa and hubby either adopts or has a baby together, and with Gov. Chrisie just saying he had that weight reducing surgery could give her the incentive to walk away from it all. Just my observation.
The election is 4 years away. It’s not going to matter with the primaries because regardless of what comes out in the hearings Clinton will get the nomination if she wants it. As for the election, I doubt that this will be high on the list of voter concerns in 2016.
Still say no 70 year old left-wing battleaxe will be the democrat’s nominee in 2016. It amazes me when I read that her favorability is 70%, the same as her whore-hopping, serial rapist of a husband. How many repubicans were surveyed in this bogus polls. I know of no republican that likes the backstabbing Clinton clan. They are both as sleazy and lowlife as the day is long, and on top of that Hillary Clinton is a lesbian.
Looks like Obama's teflon coating is lasting into his second term.

Personally, I don’t think Hillary gives a rat’s ass if she ever becomes a grandmother. It’ll cramp her style. Secondly, whether Christie loses weight, or stays a fat pig isn’t going to make him a marketable Presidential candidate. He may end up being nominated by the elite GOP, but if they think Republicans stayed home for Romney, they ain’t seen nothin’ yet for a Christie nomination.
So many people under Obama’s bus.
What could very well go against Hillary even if she decides to run would be an opposing canidate who is TP or Tea Partyish in nature and who could EVEN BEAT OUT Gov. Ghristie.
I am waiting for one of the RINOs to ask the question of the century: “When this attack started how could ANYONE on earth know how long it would last and know they could not respond in time?”
It is physically impossible for anyone in the abomination administration to answer this question without admitting they just said no with no knowledge of how long the entire attack would last.
If I do not hear this question, I know this is just more kabuki theater.
There is a double malignancy on the body of the nation and it’s name is Clinton.
