Remember when all the stuff about the birth certificate was going viral? Then all of a sudden out of the blue we get OBL. Then all that stuff about the birth certificate just faded away....
Thus, if all these hearings get a little too hot, then it would not surprise me at all if we see some type of “wag the dog” scenario. With the goal that all these investigations just fade away. Just saying it would not surprise me at all.

Many things are coming home to roost with this administration and if they continue with their Democratic support (and cover up) then they will go away...and good riddance!
At least there are still good and decent folks working for the government (most are in the military though) but as long as they will put the best for America ahead of their own interest, we will prevail.
