The July 4 armed march on Washington just got a little more interesting. A day after telling City Desk that he would still try to enter Washington with a loaded gun, rally organizer Adam Kokesh changed tactics. Now, he wants citywide civil disobedience over whatever law participants consider unconstitutional.
"This is now a call for mass civil disobedience on July 4th anywhere in Washington, DC," Kokesh writes on his march's Facebook event page. "Break whatever unconstitutional law you choose."
Kokesh declined to comment on the move, promising a full announcement next year. But the shift to a citywide strategy seems to be a response to D.C. police chief Cathy Lanier making it clear that marchers would be stopped at the bridge. Instead, Kokesh promises, "we will shut them down by overwhelming them."
Meanwhile, another group of libertarians has promised to march downtown the day before Kokesh's rally with toy guns.....

Amen. These are evil tactics that only work for evil causes.
We must rethink our personal, political, moral and religious views with respect to how to specifically redress our collective grievances. (I don’t mean changing our values, just giving careful consideration to how to act in response to the evil of the day we live in.)
If armed conflict is inevitable, it will also be the last resort, and also must be implemented with a well-reasoned and well-thought-out plan to achieve specific goals.
We do not need to become part of random acts of protest and / or violence.
July 4 is a fairly stupid day to call for anything in DC. The Mall is absolutely mobbed all day and well into the night with all the entertainment and holiday festivities. Too many yuppies and family types around to get away with much mischief.

Quite likely. On the flip side, if we continue to talk and never take any substantive action, we never end up exposing the Left for the murderous and tyrannical entity it is. The Left acts contrary to the law in any way it deems appropriate and we continue to "respect the law" even when it runs contrary to Freedom. What is the tipping point that gets our side mobilized?
Well, never. You have to respect the law, regardless of its impact on freedom. If you don't and instead call for civil disobedience, you're an "agent provacateur." But if you don't call for civil disobedience, you're a tool of the leftist tyrants. But if you do, you're a rabble rouser trying to make our side look bad. But if you don't, then you're perfectly happy to be ruled by the new slavemasters. But if you do, then you're trying to lure freedom-lovers into a trap. But if you don't, blah blah blah ad infinitum.

Yes,he is aligned with Occupy and Code Pink! And also with Ron and Rand Paul! When I was on Capitol Hill, I saw and heard Congressman Ron Paul yell to the Code Ping bunch, “I am with you!”. Paul was sure to let Susie Benjamin know that he was with her as she and her group of four were led away by Capitol Police for not having a permit to be there!

Well lookie here, Now Adam the Kook's plan is to advocate for civil disobedience walking with loaded guns from Virginia over the bridge in to DC! You see, it's been awhile since he was body slammed by the Park Police, so Adam needs some attention!
If only Adam's mother had given this punk more attention as a child!!!

Adam Kokesh is a punk, who I met in 2007. He told me then My Son, who was serving his second deployment, was a terrorists and that I was the mother of a terrorist! I told him if I could I would tear his Marine Corps jacket off of him because he is a disgrace to the corps and he is NEVER FAITHFUL!

He is setting up to give the 2nd Amendment folks a black eye because that is how the press will identify him.
Civil disobedience can be done in a way which shows respect for the Law, as an abstract, while disagreeing with a specific statute. If one breaks the law to protest it, one must be prepared to accept the consequences, e.g. arrest and incarceration.
“What is the tipping point that gets our side mobilized?”
Judging by the increase in gun and ammo sales in the last year, the tipping has started. Look for the organization of State Militias in conservative states, and or county militias/sheriffs’ posses in conservative areas of liberal states. The resolutions in some states to not allow enforcement of certain federal laws or regulations, and to enforce laws which the federal government refuses to, are another sign.

ParcMan is not just cute rangerettes and well scrubbed rangers giving “interpretive tours”. The ranks of ParcPersons includes the usual ‘roid enhanced Pithecan Parasites - those are the Armed & Rangerous. Should the Armed & Rangerous arrest those wanna-be demonstrators, they might well be walked up the Washington Monument for a look at DC.
‘Twould be a pity if they fell down the whole flight of steps. Worse yet with a 200+ Trough Feeder doing a bob sled imitation.
