Speaking at a prayer event inside the US Capitol, Rep. Michele Bachmann said that this nation has experienced God's judgment twice on September 11.

Uh...no. Bear Ms.B.....Muzzies think the same thing.
This is why we don’t win national elections.
More like Barry’s incompetence. Wait for the natural disasters if you want to see God’s judgement. It will likely hit Delaware, Minnesota, Washington, etc.
Is there anyone who takes this ding-a-ling seriously?
911? Mayhap. Benghazi, I have my doubts.
From the sounds of things, its going to be a while before we see a Republican or Conservative Republican elected President. Geeeeesh, it never ends.
Just so you know, there is no walking this one back.
(Say a great big "Hi" to Todd Akin for us, btw.)
Interesting! The Westboro Baptist Church claimed in their newsletter that “God sent the bombs” to Boston.
Not sure there is any observable correlation between accidents, deaths, tragedies and whether one is a Christian or not - good Christian or otherwise. We were told life would not be easy for Christians. God gave this world over to Satan and bad things happen to people of all stripes. God can certainly enact judgments but I don’t see how we necessarily know whether a tragedy is caused/influenced by free will, Satan/demons, God’s intervention or combination of these things.
Of course all of you "God's judgement natural disaster" types are strangely silent when much of Joplin Missouri (overwhelmingly Republican) gets leveled by a Tornado, Alabama gets hit by the largest known tornado outbreak in history, and the coast of Mississippi is vaporized by Katrina.
But then when one house falls in the sea in a landslide in Washington state it's suddenly "God's Judgement" because the county where it happened is Democrat.
based on her voting record - yes i do
and her accomplishments in life

A prominent Catholic priest in the city where I live says exactly the same thing.
Would someone please gag that woman. Please!
As much as this woman fights the good fight against the moslems and their infiltration into the country, I’m gonna give her a pass on this. She was speaking at a prayer meeting—not a presser.
Yeah... this is going to help.
Helpful? Nope. Truth, yes, which isn’t always helpful. We as a nation turned our back towards God.
He in turn turned His towards us. Before anyone gets all high and mighty, how many of you send your kids to the public school system?
Every freakin parent I know screams high and mighty about the school system....but yet won’t speak up cause they “don’t want to make waves”.
Enjoy the ride folks.
Go ahead....eat your young.
we as a nation have abandoned God in the most serious way
gay marriage, abortion, promoting adultery, sodomy, fornication, lying, stealing
Gosh, the list is a mile long
We have changed the truth of God for a lie
and our nation is ABSOLUTELY getting a spanking as a last resort to make us repent and return to Him in sackcloth and ashes!
I think she is right.
Thank the Good Lord, a voice of reason!
Never mind Michelle,
If one believe the Bible and the hierarchy of heaven: The natural disasters in the South/Bible Belt—IMO were not God’s judgement, but may have been Satan using his powers, after all he does have dominion over the earth and uses that dominion to his advantage. (see Tony Evans and “The Battle is the Lord’s)
Events are of men and their mistakes/intentions and evil souls, IMO.
Was she speaking to the Westboro Baptist Church?
So when 6,000 people were killed in the Galveston hurricane in 1900, what were we getting punished for?
Or was it just that we stupidly put a considerable-sized city on a sandbar without a seawall in a hurricane-prone area and ignored warnings about the storm from the Cubans?
The idea that any human being alive in the last 500 years would blame human or man-made disasters on some sort of divine punishment is silly. We have much better explanations for things, though they don't make people feel better the way that believing some deity did it does.
It doesn't matter. She got covered anyway.
There's something called "meteorology" largely based on things called "physics" and "mathematics" - may want to check into those.
You can actually mostly predict bad weather things happening with those, remarkably. Trying to predict them by analyzing Satan, you'll find, doesn't work so well.
Aids worked much better than those.

Does darkness exist?
The answer is of course, no.
your refusal to believe that God chastens a nation for sin is what is the bad thing here
When a nation is right with God, they do not suffer
Our nation has been declining left and right, financially, morally, world prestige, our personal freedoms
it is the LACK of Biblical values in the people, the lack of people fearing God and hating sin that is causing all this
you ignore that in your own peril
Now if we could get Pat Robertson to weigh in on the hurricanes and how much he can leg press....
“We have much better explanations for things,”
no - YOU think you do
and won’t allow for opinions from others
you worship your god science and let others worship theirs
The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.
These words were first uttered by leaders in Israel and in response to a limited strike by Assyria on the lands of Zebulun and Naphtali an attack the prophet makes clear is actually part of a limited judgment by God against apostasy. It wasnt meant to destroy the nation, but to awaken it, according to most commentaries.”
—It wasnt meant to destroy the nation, but to awaken it—
Isaiah 9:10—The Harbinger
He said the city's action would bring about a judgement from God..."in the form of terrorist bombs, an earthquake, tornadoes or possibly a meteor", any one of which would devastate Orlando as punishment.
Only a buffoon of a false god deals with collective punishments. It speaks of its impotence in being able to discern and deliver precise justice, more than anything else. Such gods prove themselves to be the creations of the minds of humans with a control addiction.
“It doesn’t matter. She got covered anyway.”
By your logic, no conservative should pray in their church, for fear a “reporter” will cover it.
Her words were appropriate for a prayer meeting if this was her message. Not appropriate for a press conference.
Well, how reliable can mathematics be? Mathematics tells us that evolutionary theory is not possible.
There are no coincidences. Coincidence is a human illusion to mask things beyond our understanding.
All u so called conservatives on here are so full of it. No wondervwe lost. Your generation flushed morals down the drain just like the libs did. No difference between libs and most socalled conservatives now. Total surrender. U all share the blame for what is about to fall upon us. As a nation.
WHEREAS, The Senate of the United States; devoutly recognizing the
Supreme authority and just government of Almighty God in all the affairs of
men and nations, has, by a resolution, requested the President to designate
and set apart a day for National prayer and humiliation.
And Whereas, it is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to owe their
dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and
transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine
repentance will lead to mercy and pardon, and to recognize the sublime truth
announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations
only are blessed whose God is the Lord.
And, inasmuch as we know that by His Divine law, nations, like individuals,
are subjected to punishments and chastisements in this world, may we not
justly fear that the awful calamity of civil war, which now desolates the land,
may be but a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins, to the
needful end of our national reformation as a whole people?
We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have
been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity. We have grown in
numbers, wealth, and power as no other nation has ever grown.
BUT WE HAVE FORGOTTEN GOD.
Done at the city of Washington the 30th day of March, in the year of our Lord
Signed by Abraham Lincoln, President of the U.S.A
No need to be so negative. I don’t think anyone’s flushing morals down the toilet here, at least I’m certainly not. As someone suggested above, this was appropriate for the occasion, but wouldn’t have been appropriate in a press interview.
There is a widely held view among people of all faiths that those nations that stray from the path of righteousness suffer disaster. Zedekiah’s Israel is a good example.
Regardless, I believe that these human disasters were direct results of incompetence much like similar incidents in the past. Punishment from God would have been far more significant, Biblical in proportion.
and that too.......
Read The Harbinger.
I blame the Jihadists, not God.
God gave us Life and Free Choice. They chose to do what they did, not the people of the United States.
The Woman sounds like a buffoon, and she just added to her Resume with this comment.
No, this nation is not getting a spanking....God is simply allowing mans ‘desires’ to play out.
Obama would not have won had the majority not wanted him as President....Abortion would never have been made legal if the majority didn’t want it....etc. etc. etc.
Mankind turns from God and He simply lets him see what he really is without God....
