The government’s lost war on 3D printable guns

The Federal government is trying to stop the proliferation of plans for guns that can be produced with 3D printer technology. That war was lost as soon as Washington launched it....

Almost immediately the printable gun plans were available at web sites, linked to in chat rooms, downloadable at torrent sites, accessible via FTP and passed around in emails. How many people had heard of the “Liberator” before John Kerry’s department decided to get involved in gun grabbing? How many had ever been to Defcad.org? How many even knew printing a gun was possible? Whatever the number, it is millions more now.

Yes and more available than ever now that the government has shown an interest. They never learn.

Looks like the author don't know diddly about marxist regimes. This was planned from day one:
  1. Let 3D gun plans proliferate
  2. Shut down key sites, making the info go viral
  3. Create a false flag incident with 3D guns
  4. Blame it on 2A supporters
  5. Call for more fascist gun laws
  6. Call for fascist Internet regulation
It's easy to see EXACTLY what's going on here.

Yup. Thank God for Pirate Bay and kat. The Liberator files were only 2 mb, easy download in seconds. Use “defcad” as your search query...umm, our neighbor’s kid downloaded it for us (whistling)

I know of someone who did a google search for "defcad", found the archive site and downloaded the "mega pack" from there.

While the defcad site was down, of course.

Once it is out there, it will never be removed.

In short, Cody Wilson won. He proved that it’s possible for citizens to design and build firearms without permission from the government.

So, will the people who make their printed liberators out of the wrong polymer be suing the author of the file, or the hosting company when their friends start calling them lefty. Wrong plastic = Darwin Award finalist.

Designing 3D printed guns is now going to be a cottage industry

Gun savvy folks from all over will be slaving over free CAD machines

There will be a cottage industry producing the parts the designers dream up

There will be seminars on materials
