Adam Kokesh admits mental instability, calls for armed march on D.C.
The Daily Caller ^ | May 13, 2013 | Charles C. Johnson

Despite his self-proclaimed history of mental instability and post-traumatic stress, one-time congressional candidate and perennial activist Adam Kokesh is organizing a pro-gun rally in which marchers will walk with loaded rifles into Washington from Virginia.

“This is now a call for mass civil disobedience on July 4th anywhere in Washington, D.C.,” Kokesh wrote on the event’s Facebook page. “We will march with rifles loaded & slung across our backs to put the government on notice that we will not be intimidated & cower in submission to tyranny.”

Kokesh, who served as a Marine artillery officer and reservist, attended Claremont McKenna College. His 2005 psychology thesis, “Hot, Dirty, and Dangerous: Seven Months of Civil and Not-So-Civil Affairs In And Around Fallujah” discusses suffering from post-traumatic stress. “I had a number of anxiety attacks those first few days back [from Iraq],” Kokesh wrote.

Koesh was particularly disturbed by crowds, something which may prove problematic with the armed crowds at the forthcoming march. “I didn’t feel comfortable getting drunk, and the crowds made me nervous. When dealing with crowds in Iraq, I was always armed and I always had someone watching my back, usually with a machine gun....

Be my guest, Take your gun into a town with the strictest gun laws around and let me know how it turns out.

This guy is as phony as can be. Look at his shirt: the A stands for anarchy, and is the symbol used for the most violent street demonstrators, allied with the Occupy Wall Street people.

This man is a nutcase. Post-traumatic syndrome has nothing to do with it. He was crazy probably at the beginning.

A good question is, who is bankrolling him? Who is promoting him? ’Cause I think that he is a front.

This is a very smart move on his part, the problem with conservatives is no spine, they refuse to push issues. He and his people will get arrested and then we can have a trail case to take to the SCOTUS.

Of course many conservatives think we should not protest but go without a fight to slavery under the fascist dictator Obama with the help of the republican leadership in congress.

I think it was Jefferson who said, “when the people fear the government you have tyranny, when the government fears the people you have liberty” time for them to be afraid.

There is a huge difference between America and the examples you cite.

We have the ballot box.

We have demonstrated that this works.

What we need are real leaders with real ideas.

What we don’t need is nuts with guns stirring up the media and the masses.

Want to sour the public & trigger public sentiment for confiscation? March on DC with a rifle.

Want to make real change? Infiltrate the GOP and make your voice heard.

One thing I have learned about the left is that you can never take them at face value. They say one thing, but do another. Or they say they have a specific cause, but everything else they say is in direct contradiction to that cause.

Like the organization PETA, which claims to be all about the “rights” of animals and stopping cruelty to animals. Yet they take in animals, promising their owners that they will find new homes for them, and murder the pets as soon as they are out of the (former) owner’s sight. Or feminist groups who claim to be about equal rights for women, but the only “right” they ever mention is the “right” of women to be cash cows for the abortion industry.

And so on.

I often wonder what motivates people to advocate so vehemently against life and freedom. I’ve never found a satisfactory explanation.

“I’m sick of all the candy ass talk around here. Our government’s being overthrown as we watch, and mofos sit around talking like pansies.”

Conservatives have no command structure, no organization and no plan. Marching on Washington is a plan - a stupid one - but lacks organization and command structure.

Let’s first see if conservatives can get organized enough to send a three-man delegation to a local village council meeting to protest and rescind high property taxes. Then we can move onto sending a half-dozen people to a schoolboard meeting to protest communists in our schools.

If conservatives need instruction on how to do that, see Committees of Safety.

Go at it and get your march into a county board meeting planned. Prove you can take back your neighborhoods first, and then we can talk about Washington. Taking back your neighborhoods will provide you with a safe base where you can plan other actions.

This is a very bad idea. Kokesh should not be supported in any way. This is a totally irresponsible act, by someone who’s mental stability is questionable.

If you’re going to make some noise I’d recommend not doing it while associated with this buffoon. He’s about as far from American ideals and Cindy Sheehan.

Could he be an infil-traitor, sent to spread the impression that “gun people” are nuts, and influence the public to become anti-gun?

Repeatedly, information comes out of Iraq proving the terrorist connections of Saddam Hussein and Al-Qaeda.

Still, not one PEACE NAZI has apologized and admitted we were right.

And even if they did, their enablers in the Lamestream Media would not cover it.

“He’s an agent provocateur not a real Tea Party, 9/12, conservative or patriotic fellow. He wants Mr. Obama and the regime to come down hard on the right and is trying to give him an excuse. Don’t fall for it, no matter how enticing it is.”

Ok, if we accept that premise (which I don’t) then enlighten us as to what does the government have to do, what Amendment does it have to destroy, what IRS, EPA, DOJ, ATF, FBI... type threat does it take, to trigger the Thomas Jefferson moment?

If we have no line in the sand we are no better than this affirmative action pResident and nobody in government will ever 2nd guess their unconstitutional actions.

Like Rep Stark from CA, I guess they all feel the federal government can do whatever it wants because nobody will stop them.

Yes, and include the entire “open carry” movement in that provocateur category. It’s a time honored tradition on the part of tacticians to push the radical fringe of any movement towards extremism in order to delegitimize the movement in general. “Open carry” is going to play like the Rodney King video on the 6:00 news. We need to get smarter faster.

You can always tell which member of your group is the government informant. He’s the one standing up and telling everybody how neat it would be to do something illegal.
