WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department secretly obtained two months of telephone records of reporters and editors for The Associated Press in what the news cooperative's top executive called a "massive and unprecedented intrusion" into how news organizations gather the news.
The records obtained by the Justice Department listed incoming and outgoing calls, and the duration of each call, for the work and personal phone numbers of individual reporters, general AP office numbers in New York, Washington and Hartford, Conn., and the main number for AP reporters in the House of Representatives press gallery, according to attorneys for the AP.
In all, the government seized those records for more than 20 separate telephone lines assigned to AP and its journalists in April and May of 2012. The exact number of journalists who used the phone lines during that period is unknown but more than 100 journalists work in the offices whose phone records were targeted on a wide array of stories about government and other matters.

Why in the hell would the Holder Justice Dep’t do this? The AP is pretty much in bed and under the sheets with this administration.
This is just and proper. The government is a necessary and benign institution. If any of these presstitutes were doing anything improper, then they can expect an investigation, maybe starting with a prefunctory tap on their door at 2am.
So, Libya begins to heat up and now we get information regarding the IRS and the Justice Dept. being utilized as storm troopers to press the facist agenda?!?!? Anyone who harbors any doubt as to whether this is a criminal administration is just plain dumb - and you can’t fix dumb!
This is just too rich...and another Obama escapade is revealed.

Last week Obama opened his mouth and said we should ignore the voices out there who speak of government tyranny. Since he’d opened his mouth, I knew he was lying. Everything he says is a lie, almost as though he is the embodiment of some Biblical prophecy or something.
Anyway, since I knew he was lying, it wasn’t a surprise to learn about the IRS targeting conservatives. Now, it looks like he’s going after the press, too.
