The House Ways and Means Committee has scheduled a formal hearing Friday to probe the Internal Revenue Service for placing heavier scrutiny on conservative groups that applied for nonprofit status between 2010 and 2012. IRS Commissioner Steve Miller and Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration J. Russell George are expected to testify Friday morning during the hearing, which committee leaders said would examine the agency's "practice of targeting applicants for tax-exempt status based on political leanings." The IRS last week apologized for targeting groups that advocate for limited government by requiring them to fulfill onerous requirements before receiving tax-exempt status. A report from the inspector general detailing the agency's practices is expected to be published later this week. "News that the agency admits it targeted American taxpayers based on politics is both astounding and appalling," said Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp, a Michigan Republican, in a written statement. "The Committee on Ways and Means will get to the bottom of this practice and ensure it never takes place again. President Barack Obama addressed the IRS' behavior during a brief press conference Monday, calling it, if true, "outrageous."

Pinging y’all to the post!
The House voted to repeal the Stock Act on a voice vote,
NOTHING WILL COME OF THIS IRS SCANDAL,...
because it provides no gains to the individual agendas of Republican politicians.
this steve miller guy sounds like a joker to me
Mark Levin just said that the current commissioner knew about the groups targeting a year ago.
That would probably be the majority of them. Several were involved and they told others and those told others and so on and so on.
EVERYONE of these people are complicit in trying to cover up this criminal organization. They should be hung in public!
The future does not belong to those that insult Islam.
Flat Tax? Who will ever be able to trust them again?
PUT HIM UNDER OATH!!!
You have the post of the YEAR!

“Let me hazard a guess, all the groups the IRS targeted, also happened to be critical of Islam ? If that is true,we have tied almost all these individual stories together. The one common thread in everything Obama has done,
The future does not belong to those that insult Islam.”
I have already asked Chairman Camp, via email, to not waste my taxpayer dollars on this unless everyone is under oath. It's a joke otherwise.
In other news, does anybody besides me find in interesting that, even though most of this abuse took place a couple of days ago, the report is being released now? Hmmm... Maybe a Ben Gazi wag the dog? Hmmm...
I know, I know, what difference, at this point, does it make?
Levin just broke that the IRS announced about 45 minutes ago that the director knew about it and knew what going on. He must have approved of it? He will be gone by weeks end.
And rightly so. It's called Taqiyya.
max bacus (D) is chief investigator in the Senate IRS investigation and HE WROTE a letter in 2012... to the IRS... demanding that they investigate TEA party groups and the right. Some investigation that harry reid runs... the fox is the prosecutor and judge and the chickens are the defendant.
Deniability, perhaps, but hardly plausible.
