He has won. I will prove it.

I have given money - lots of money- to my favorite congressman's campaign.

Not anymore.

Not going to in the future.

Why not?

I will not risk an IRS probe. A IRS exam. An IRS intervention.

Wy risk it? I'm not the Koch brothers. I can't blow money on attorneys and accountants.

Not one person has or will lose their job or go to jail.

Te IRS has been turned into a political weapon. The Republican Party is in for a $hock this year if other small business owners feel Ike I feel today.

Obama has won.

Obama has won.

I feel your pain. Before 0 was in office I was a pretty successful businessman and never had to worry about having the funds to pay bills. I could buy pretty much anything i wanted and had a decent savings account. No more and I have plenty of friends in that very same boat right now. The fear that he has instilled in the small business community has crippled it’s spirit. He alone has damaged the economy and the American spirit in a very negative way and is like a cancer that needs to be removed if America ever wants to regain what she once was.

I think you’ve got it wrong. The IRS as a weapon was always the case with Obama in power. Now it’s been outted. In a way, it’s probably safer today to give to conservative causes than its ever been since Obama was elected.

Well, the very thought that if you donate, if you sign a petition, if you send a letter to a Member of Congress, etc. that you might be tracked or audited will discourage such activity. If you are a Democrat strategist and looking at large population numbers, even a slight decrease in such participation rates can be used to swing elections. This is how a tyrant tightens his grip on power.

“I have given money - lots of money- to my favorite congressman’s campaign. Not anymore.”

If you’re LEGALLY giving money to Congressman, then your identity is far from secret. If you’re doing it some other way, you don’t need to tell the IRS.

Using the IRS only applies to people taking advantage of the Citizens United ruling - and that has nothing to do with direct, hard money, contributions to political campaigns.

What’s your problem, exactly? Hit the bottle too much tonight?

My question is valid, this should not be in breaking news.

So you surrender to Obama. That is how he wants to win. You can give to whomever you choose. What you see is intimidation by nothing more than a schoolyard bully. It is the utilization of chicago political machine tactics. Basically by standing up to Obama you can defeat him. It is time for the conservatives to say ENOUGH.

Did America back down to Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt? No it did not.

what about the tyranny that came about with Japan and Germany? Did America back down to Fascism?

What is going on is a petulant prick whom believe he can get away with anything. The Constitution, checks and balances will keep him in check. It is an abuse of power in what the IRS did.

So do not give up, because than Odumb@$$ will create the Socialistic Utopia of a grander scale - Look at Chicago and detroit. Socialistic nightmares. The history of Milwaukee, Wisconsin was socialistic too, but it is no longer.

Did you donate during or after Clinton? Because he did the same thing.

Witholding money from conservatives candidates is like pissing in your boots to keep your feet warm: it’s a short-term solution that makes you feel better for a few minutes, until you realize that your boot is now full of piss and your feet are colder than they were before.

First of all. Your vanity doesn’t belong in Breaking News.

Secondly, unless you have something huge to hide, why would you worry about an IRS audit for legitimate contributions to your congressman?

Thirdly, by posting your vanity on Free Republic, which could be monitored by the IRS, as a Right Wing, Constitutional, Tea Party, Liberty loving site, you have now drawn lots of attention to yourself...lol.

You are a nOOb and will get the FNG treatment for a while. Deal with it.

It’s early enough in the morning that most of don’t care that this is in breaking news and so long as vanities, in breaking news are rare, they are allowed for the purpose of advancing discussion about current events(breaking news).

Besides, the guy has been around since Moses and JR. He get a pass.
