Ok Rush is on WMAL, and out of the blue I hear a "Conservative" group(didn't catch the name) advertizing for "comprehensive" immigration reform. It included quotes from Rubio. The implication is that "conservatives" are behind Rubio. It was pure BS propaganda.
Those are running CONSTANTLY. Ugh.
They have been playing that ad for a week or so now. Just heard it a few minutes ago (on a Rush break).
Apparently happening in many places on “Conservative” radio stations.
This one has been playing a lot. It is Zuckerberg’s group.
I heard the same thing yesterday I think...it was Americans for Progress or something....I googled and found their page....it is minimalist (as in slapped up hurriedly).
I concluded it is a Democrat or Democrat sympathizer putup that is out for a bit of subterfuge.
Rush airs it because he is a capitalist (if it’s a national buy), on some of his subscribers get their own local time for advertisement and he doesn’t even know what’s airing sometimes.
Considering how it is airing and where versus his official sponsors, my guess is he has no say so whatsoever in the advertisement. They are buying through the stations, not EIB.
These sound bytes from RINOs kill us.
The rank and file thinks Conservatives now support Leftist policy.
It just sucks...
this is NOT a conservative group.
this is like the anti-second amendment hunting group speaking in favor of gun control.
Rubio is just a useful idiot for the left.
The ad is to take out rubio’s viability in 2016,
Got the same crap here in ND on KFYR 550 Bismarck/Dickinson. Have heard the BS from last week but don’t know the name either.
Mark Zuckerberg, of Facebook fame, is the founder and primary donor to Americans For A Conservative Direction.
To my knowledge, Zuckerberg has never been a "conservative".
I think it was “Organizing for a Conservite Future” or some other such group as that.
we gotta watcht it- the libtards are using our name now to advance their agenda.
I heard that commerical- Marco Rubio has just dropped completely out of the picture in my book.
The CIA calls this a “false flag” operation.
They have a tv add too, featuring Rubio.
What’s interesting is I usually listen to WABC from New York online and hear the commercial all the time. However, I never hear it on the local affiliate down here in Texas. They seem to be targeting liberal markets.
False flag (or black flag) describes covert military or paramilitary operations designed to deceive in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities, groups or nations than those who actually planned and executed them. Operations carried during peace-time by civilian organisations, as well as covert government agencies, may by extension be called false flag operations if they seek to hide the real organisation behind an operation.
He explained it one time. His syndicated subscribers get their own separate time for local ads (I did say this - you didn’t read far enough), AND there are national buys through him (EIB - many he does himself) and through the national syndicator.
He does have control over the EIB stuff because he dropped the ads that came back to him after they’d dropped him over some PC crap and asked for air time. He refused.
It played in the local Phoenix AZ market yesterday.
Every time I hear MarcoPhone Rubio and Paul Lyan's voices on this cr@pola ad, I want to scream. No use trying to call ANY of their offices to complain...they have recordings, only.
From a Breitbart article...
Zuckerbergs group includes Republicans known to be soft on border control, like former Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour (who also has chaired the Republican National Committee); Sally Bradshaw, chief of staff to former Florida Governor Jeb Bush; Joel Kaplan, Deputy Chief of Staff to former President George W. Bush; and Rob Jesmer, former Executive Director at the National Republican Senatorial Committee from 2008-2012.
Thats who Rubio is teamed up with these days.
They run ALL THE TIME here in GA-ad nauseum!
Rubio’s goose is cooked. I’m sick of the sight AND sound of him, now. (soros backed ads)
As a bona fide, lifelong, and very proud member of Hilly’s “Vast Right-Wing Conspiricy,” I am dedicated to CONSERVING!
Rubio Smell Test Criteria:
1. Does Rubio’s 8 Senate Gangsters Bill repeal AND abolish the “Anchor Baby Law?”
2. Does “Wacko Bid” McCain approve of Sheriff Joe Arpaio building more Desert Concentration Camps in Arizona for the future alien illegal invaders from Mexico?
3. Does Rubio’s 8 Senate Gangster Bill include a $1,000 employers fine per hired illegal worker, per day?
Lemme see now, welfare, wages, punish US employers, no free stuff, (well except for Joe Arpaio giving them free pink underwear and beans).
Yup. That’s it.
Just remember that May Fifth is National MEXICAN GO HOME! Day, and remember to CONSERVE America!
Okay...that’s it. I knew it was “Americans for something”.
From the crappy web page you’d think Zuckerberg is a cheap a$$ for a billionaire.
PS. Anybody that has a FaceBook account with this going on is a dumba$$
Probably the ACU which came on record Friday in supporting Rubio and the gang of eight’s plan.
Mark Zuckerberg a conservative?
And I founded the SDS and SNVCC too..lol
I have heard it several times.
They [Ryan, Rubio, et al] are trying to sell this legislation as being supported by ‘conservatives’.
Erick Ericson over at Redstate.org has pointed out that the some RNC-lifer consultants are running the campaign (i.e., spending the money -- which is considerable). And that they evidently see Zuckerberg as a walking ATM.
Frankly, I think the exposure -- which appears limited to conservative talk audiences -- will do more to damage the likes of Rubio and Ryan. Conservatives simply aren't buying the program -- and no amount of advertising is going to change their minds.
Which is, once again, indicative of the cluelessness which characterizes Republican consultants when it comes to knowing the base. Not to mention Rubio's and Ryan's judgment...
for Jeb Bush it is about his miami as a hub to south america business deals. It is crony capitalism legislation.
If anyone hasn’t already determined that Rubio is a GOP-e RINO then they must still be asleep.
” He does have control over the EIB stuff because he dropped the ads that came back to him after theyd dropped him over some PC crap and asked for air time. He refused.”
This “commercial” is driving me crazy.
The liberal market probably explains it; North Dakota is the home of the Democratic/Non Partisan League. The NPL was a sproout ot the Communist Party that merged with the Democrats years ago. ND is pretty conservative but it does have its rats.
You are a bit late, it is a Liberal Front Group funded by the founder of Facebook/Soros. Chris Plante and Mark Levin covered these phonies last week on their shows and MAL is simply taking their money as the word is already out on them.
From the National Association of Manufacturers
I believe there is station time and Rush time during breaks. He can influence his end, but I’m not convinced he can dictate to the station what it will air.
A portion of that money comes back to him too.
” Im not convinced he can dictate to the station what it will air.”
Wish I knew more about how these things operate.
Clueless as a sh*thouse rat!
The key to the consultant's success is counter to normal capitalist tradition. These rats, parasites, make money "Hanover Fist" regardless of the campaign outcome. Win or lose their gene pool is so shallow their reputations go on and on and on.
The monopolize caucuses and generally take advantage of politicians too proud to ask for money or too dumb to know basic marketing.
In a way, I hope Zuckerberg gives these leeches all his money.
That sounds like the campaign signs here in Idaho’s 1st congressional district from about 6 years ago: Sportsmen for (democrat) Minnick. Never met one “sportsman for minnick,” but the signs were all over.
It worked ... once.
Leftists can create all the front groups they want, funded by Soros and his ilk. It is the kind of thing they do, many are no more than postal drops. I remember a while back when we FReepers traced a bunch to a single little house.
