RNC Chairman Reince Priebus believes Attorney General Eric Holder should resign for tapping the phones of the Associated Press, calling the move a violation of the First Amendment. Here is his statement:
“Freedom of the press is an essential right in a free society. The First Amendment doesn’t request the federal government to respect it; it demands it. Attorney General Eric Holder, in permitting the Justice Department to issue secret subpoenas to spy on Associated Press reporters, has trampled on the First Amendment and failed in his sworn duty to uphold the Constitution. Because Attorney General Holder has so egregiously violated the public trust, the president should ask for his immediate resignation. If President Obama does not, the message will be unmistakable: The President of the United States believes his administration is above the Constitution and does not respect the role of a free press.”

Holder must resign.
Many of us have been demanding this, since the New Black Panther Party mess, and the Contempt of Court for the Gulf drilling, and the Contempt of Congress over Fast and Furious.

No—Holder doesn’t have to resign. He needs to stand trail for Fast and Furious, hopefully get convicted, and spend many years in jail.

From what I understand, it was just the phone records. Not that it isn’t bad, but not quite the same thing.
The liberal talking heads are already excusing this action proving once again that their is literally NOTHING that they aren’t hypocritical about.

This is what will happen during the next few days. As the pressure grows for Holder to resign, a 'journalist' will say something like this:
"Some people are saying there is a racial element at play here, that President Obama and Attorney General Holder are being singled out for criticism because of their race."
They never explain who the "some people" are because there aren't any. They make up the charge out of the whole cloth and then run with it.
Poor Jay Carney - he can't flash a Race Card. Maybe he can come out as Bi-Sexual or something.
Have Holder resign for something that did not happen, at least with the scenario being talked about.
He should resign and face justice for fast and furious, not prosecuting Black Panthers for voter intimidation of WHITE voters (racism at it's finest,) his compliance in Benghazi, scuttling the prosecutions of Islamic terrorist Hamas supporting CAIR members, etc etc. HolderGhazi (I don't use HolderGate) contains a myriad more of his crimes of treason for which he should be tried and punished as per law. (We know what that is)
Bring those up Reince and you will be really doing something significant.
No calls for resignation for fast and furious, benghazi, irs but let them tap the media’s phones and now he is outraged? I am holding back on ap wiretap pending more info. It could be the commies in AP deserved wiretapping. Of course one set of commies wiretapping another set of commies is kind of pointless.
