BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man who has never run for office is throwing his name in the hat for next year's US Senate race.
Rob Maness, a retired Air Force colonel from Madisonville, said he plans to run against incumbent Sen. Mary Landrieu because of her support of President Barack Obama's policies.
Landrieu, who is in her third term, will also be facing Congressman Bill Cassidy in the November 2014 election.
It might be possible for this guy to win in Louisiana by doing what Sanford did in South Carolina.
Sanford went around the state carrying a picture of Nancy Pelosi -- saying that is who people would be supporting by voting for the Democratic candidate.
As bad as Sanford was, he won for this reason.
It might be possible for Retired Colonel Rob Maness to win with carrying pictures of Obama and Hillary...
Louisiana is a strong conservative state and a strong gun rights state. Mary Landrieu dumped all over the gun carrying citizens of Louisiana and is in trouble over that...
Well, since Louisiana elections (including for US Congressional offices) are run using the “jungle primary” system, I guess this won’t hurt. Keep Landrieu under 50% in the primary and then knock her off in the general.
But hopefull the “jungle primary” will have some Greens and/or other Democrats running also.
If the “man has never run for office” then he is one of us!
Michael Berry interviewed this man a day or so ago.
Just so long as he is not a stalking horse.
I hope someone can unseat Senator BabyFat.
Don't forget to include Ms Landfill herself.
Good... we can finally be rid if this corrupt biotch!
We need Jeff Landry to take out Landrieu.
