Horsefeathers! Carney and these a$$holes met before the press conference to lay out this nonsensical stir “for the masses.” Now the LIVs can go back to their fornicating, beer and TV “satisfied” that the press is on the job for them.

The weasel words are even worse than you have so aptly stated. He said "I WAS not aware..." which might mean that he is aware now...even if he's not admitting it.
Those of us who were around during the Clinton administration got very good at spotting the weasel words.

This is the same reporter who gave him hell last time. Actually, they all did.
The fact is, the wheels are coming off and the press is biting back. Did you see the last press conference? IT WAS A DISASTER for the Obama team.

I truly hope you are right. But the point I made is being shared by Rush in his latest posting from his show, so I guess only time will tell who is correct.
With the press, however, they never want to be seen as having backed a looser, so when ( and if) Obama really gets the pox, they will pile on while they proclaim Hitlary to be the next Savior of our country. Like Republicans, reporters are like vultures, in that they don’t actually want to have to kill anything to eat. They will hang around to see if Obama dies, then start feeding on his remains.
You know, I really doubt that Carney would’ve set anything up for the simple reason that for the past four + years he’s been safe in the assumption that he didn’t need to coordinate with the press.
Now the sharks in the media smell blood in the water and the White Hut (via Holder) crossed a collective line with them when they went after the sources for the AP.
That is just too Soviet even for the communists in the media.
THAT, in and of itself - is news.
I think what is making people wonder is the “deep background” press briefing or whatever they called it the other day that was by invitation only to “trusted reporters” before the regular press briefing. Many including me want to know exactly who was there and what took place.
