“Today at a Department Of Justice press conference Attorney General Eric Holder said he has no problem without letting the Associate Press answer the charges of a leak endangering national security.”

I’ve read this sentence over and oever and still can’t figure out what it means.

keats5 ~: “Today at a Department Of Justice press conference Attorney General Eric Holder said he has no problem without letting the Associate Press answer the charges of a leak endangering national security.”

It means that Holder has No Answer
and he is shifting the burden of proof to Associate Press
to respond to the allegation that “ a leak endangered national security.”
No question was directed to AP regarding a leak ..
therefore, it is a ‘non sequiteur’
The key question is ‘does this leak that you are alledging , have anything to do with Benghazi “ ??
The AP breaking a story prior to release by DOD is a cover-story , a ‘false flag issue’
The “Just-Us” Dept. is looking for leaks on Benghazi’
especially by the 30+ State Dept. employeees who know what REALLY WENT ON IN BENGHAZI
The bombing information release is a cover story to get the real information ..

It is a issue to uncover potential “whistleblower” leaks regarding Benghazi
and determine who may be weakening, and now may be willing
to report their obsevations to the press .

I had to break the quote down and add from a recent awareness report of his recusal.

The quote has a meaning twisted upon itself and the fact of his recusal. I believe the meaning of the quote is better worded as follows:

“I have no problem speaking save for the AP would have to explain why and how it leaked information that endangers national security.”

Same here. Even allowing for typos and bad transcription, I can't make heads or tails of it.

“I’ve read this sentence over and over and still can’t figure out what it means.”

I’m thinking perhaps translation of Holder’s ebonics with a poor grammar correction?

Change one word for another that sounds a bit like that word and then incorrectly apply “without” instead of “with”?

“Today at a Department Of Justice press conference Attorney General Eric Holder said he has no problem about (corrected to “with” but instead corrected to “without”) letting the Associate Press answer the charges of a leak endangering national security.”
