Benedict Cumberbatch, the British actor who plays the mysterious villain in Star Trek Into Darkness, told BBC America that the new film's futuristic setting didn't stop it from reflecting on recent global events.

The new franchise is not Star Trek. They destroyed the Star Trek universe in the last movie.

With that whopping error in time factoring, this guy's villain character must be the new, improved Trelane.
He also does well in the BBC’s recent incarnation of Sherlock.

Most of the characters in this latest movie series look gay. That makes the movie less believable.
I dunno, this guys looks like some kind of re-imagined Sherlock Holmes to me.
In the mean time, they’re pretty much sticking with the Bush/Cheney policy.

/don’t care, never heard of him until the whole Star Trek thing.
They’re too young to care - he’s just a face and voice, might as well be CGI.
