Skip to comments.Charlie Rangel: Obama answers not enough
Posted on 05/15/2013 9:52:31 AM PDT by mandaladon
Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) said Wednesday that he believes President Barack Obama owes the American public explanations for both the seizure of Associated Press phone records by the Department of Justice and the IRS targeting of conservative groups. I dont think anyone truly believes that the president has given us a sufficient answer for America, much less the press, Rangel said on MSNBCs Morning Joe. I think this is just the beginning and the whole idea of comparing this with Nixon, I really think is just, it doesnt make much sense. But the president has to come forward and share why he did not alert the press they were going to do this. He has to tell the Americans, including me: What was this national security question? You just cant raise the flag and expect to salute it every time without any reason and the same thing applies to the IRS.

Rangel asking Obama to come clean ?
They sure do!!
It certainly is.
More like asking him to keep his stench to himself....
I don’t believe Charlie Rangel is truly outraged by this.
Benghazi scares the hell out of them
The problem is some in the press have wised up - and it's going to be harder to play them for fools in the future. The MSM's not going to fall for a video/movie story cover for Benghazi in the future - or for crap about Petraeus stepping down over an affair, or any of the other transparent lies put out by this Administration. The bar has been raised... lies are going to have to be better done in the future if dems want to fool the MSM.
WHAT!?!?! Charlie is asking questions??? Ooops, doesn’t sound like a sideshow now, huh.

Rangel - Bowbama. Bowbama - Rangel. Pot - kettle!
He’s not asking questions about Benghazi.

I read somewhere that the question that lead to the IRS person acknowledging and apologizing for the illegal snooping originated from an administration insider.
Some people are saying it is because they knew a report was scheduled for release that would reveal the scandal anyway.
But in any case this has distracted from Benghazi. Then there is the AP scandal. This morning I read that the FBI may have illegally collected 10 million medical records of Californians including all of the federal judges.
Is this an attempt at scandal overload to desensitize the public or is the house of cards falling apart?
So goes Harlem, so goes New York........ snicker
“Channeling LBJ, Obama will be saying if Ive lost Rangel, Ive lost the country.”
I think the deciding factor will be when zero says “if I’ve lost boehner, I’ve lost the country!”
They know the press can only cover so much.
This is an attempt to distract from Benghazi
Rangel is on Obamas team

It could be - might be Hillary behind it... who knows? But with the press unleashed we might get to find out.
That's how I feel. Benghazi was an act of treason. I don't of any nation in the history of humanity that would let a sitting ambassador be killed and NOT consider it an act of war that demanded some kind of response. And the Left will go along with these other scandals because they know that Obama can always claim incompetence; and while that is an awful quality for any Administration, it is not a fatal one.
This is payback for Obama suggesting in 2012 that Rangel should retire...
Yep. It’s the old smoke and mirrors trick.
When the Rats start complaining about “the bronco-bama”, you know it’s a diversion.
