Yes...but THIS one is truly different. One example: the mainstream media and essentially ALL his fellow dems rallied around Clinton with shrugs and said 'it's just about sex,' and then isolated and demonized Ken Starr. Now? Even the most starry-eyed media fans of Obama either admit that what has happened in this administration is 'chilling,' or unprecedented, or whatever (Dana Millbank, the Morning Joe crew, etc.) OR, really mad at Obama for allowing this screw up to happen (Chris Matthews).

One of the points that the libs keep making is that the IRS deal is the big one (which means to me that they are really worried about Benghazi); however, in one way they're right--no one likes the IRS and fears them, so when they overstep their power in an illegal way, it is beyond dreadful.

And again, I believe this will all turn on 2014, and when those leaders of the democrap (sic) party who are up for reelection read their internal polls from their own districts and/or states, they will have no choice but to force this undocumented president out. At any rate, we shall see.

Pay no attention to the defeatists on FR. These are the same characters who were predicting that Mark Sanford would lose his bid for a congressional seat in South Carolina by 10 points. He won by nearly 10 points.

Just ask them what they think the people in power want to do that requires that the citizens be disarmed first.

Thanks, SeegeantDave. I appreciate your support. The habit of being a defeatist is a hard one to break. The argument many on FR are making is basically, “the stock market always goes up, so it will continue to go up” - or put another way, “the media have always loved Barack so will always love Barack” - NO matter how many times they are bitch-slapped, mocked, used as props, exposed as useful idiots, lied to in their faces, monitored, audited, threatened or laughed at by their neighbors..

Team Hillary has an 11.5 year future. Team Obama has a 3.5 year future. These two warring factions hate each other and are fighting with ruthless, reckless abandonment. If either “Team” overplays their cards, mutual assured destruction is guaranteed. The media will split into camps. All the while, many (not all) liberal media morons are pissed off, low info voters are stirring and are about to taste the bitterness of ObamaCare. We are just scratching the surface of Benghazi, AP, IRS, the sequestered, injured Benghazi survivors, House Select Committees being formed, a stalled Immigration agenda, witness intimidation and obstruction of justice revelations will curl the toenails of even the most progressive liberals in America.

Grab some popcorn. The great political theater and American civics lessons are about to be broadcast across the globe.

Only one fly in the ointment. Your assumption is Impeachment trials will begin in 2013. Who says they can’t begin in 2015, after the Senate has possibly switched parties and we have 54 Republican Senators? We would then need 13 Democrats/Hillary supporters. What if the 2014 election cycle was “nationalized” around the decision to impeach or not impeach? Make House and Senators take a stand BEFORE the 2014 vote occurs?

I believe he can easily be impeached - after the House Select Committees have methodically done their jobs, the public has learned a LOT MORE over the next 12+ months of investigations and hearings. Once the evidence is clear and indisputable, start the impeachment process in late 2014 or early 2015. The Dems have the watches, the GOP has the time - and the truth. The longer this takes, the more patient we are, the better.
