House Republicans voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act in its entirety,
(Excerpt) Read more at washingtonpost.com ...
SO WHAT DOES IT MATTER?
Can this be done?
A journey of a thousand miles ...
,,,,let’s watch the rats squirm...
They did it.
If they did nothing you would hear people whining that they don’t care.
So many people on this board bitch and moan about the Republicans...and rightly so in some ways, but the problem is MOSTLY with the Senate and the Clown Occupying the White House.
WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?
That was an effort in futility.
Why don’t they do something useful, like pass ala carte for cable TV?
It will take 2/3 in both houses to overcome obama’s veto!!!
I wish they could have this vote - although symbolic - every day until the election next year. Make the Dim reps gone on record hundreds of times supporting this trainwreck they know is going to happen.
Yup. We the people have spoken. Defund it, abolish it!
The bitching is about the GOP and GOPe and parasites
like Rove and Romney who spend more time BACKSTABBING
CONSERVATIVES and stealing money from those who have less.
“Why dont they do something useful, like pass ala carte for cable TV?”
I am so behind THAT idea.
However, cable companies are successful dictators.
If only we can get the MSM to report it.
Let me know when they vote to de-fund it.
Yeah, that would really stick up their A-holes . . . and Boehn-head could have done this and he CAN do this anytime he wants to . . . but he probably wouldn't be able to dine at the White House and play golf with Goofy if he did that..
It doesn’t change anything but I’m glad they did it anyway.
It forces vulnerable Democrats to support Demcare aka Hilarycare aka Obamacare.
This is their dream for America. They’ve finally achieved their goal, let them live with it.
America, you don’t like it? Vote them out.
Both are DOA in Reid’s corrupt Senate.
yeah, I know, let’s see what happens when IRS people go to jail
“Good. Now defund every stinkin’ bit of it.”............
Even if the Senate decides to keep Odumbocare (which they will), stop ANY AND ALL funding and stop it NOW.
Yeah this IRS thing is a serious blow to Obamacare which even liberals are admitting is a disaster.
Good for them...though it won’t pass the Senate. It will show who are the good guys!
The last I knew , even the Supreme Court stated that ObamaCare was a taxation program.
All proposals for revenue and taxation must, by law , arise in the House, not the Senate .
The fact that a Democratic party president and a Democratic party Senate are in favor of ObamaCare doesn’t mean SQUATT !!
Ignorance of the Law is no excuse.
I am glad they did this. I appreciate it. I hope they continue to stop the left’s death machine.
It’s one more time that the Dems have to go on record supporting Obama care. Next year, this vote will give the GOP a couple more seats. Sometmes losing a battle puts you closer to winning the war.
More symbolic than anything. Bachmann et al know that it will never pass the Senate, and even if it did Obama would just veto it.
Sorry to say guys, but Obama will have to leave office first.
Why couldn’t the House just defund the ‘enforcement’ aspect of the law. No new monies for the IRS in regard to 0bamaconcare. Just as others have said , the Senate won’t touch this and even if they did, 0 would just veto(with no danger of an override) any bill that crosses his desk that threatens his prized legislation. NO MONIES FOR ENFORCEMENT.
Check the headline on Drudge! IRS agent involved in targeting now running ObamaCare office, OMG!
The Rinos have a lot to do with what persecution has occurred to conservatives. They sit on their fat asses while we are classifed by DHS as worse than the jihadists and DOD runs civil war games against us and condemns Christians as treasonous people who need to be har;med in the military. They sit on their fat asses as dems call for us to be persuecuted by the IRS. And on and on.
-———It is the 37th time the House has voted to repeal all or part of the law———
Attention all numnut Freepers......Pay attention.
This is the 37th time. That is, the 37th time.
Let there be no more ignorant whining about the Republicans not doing anythg
Good for them. They need to keep doing this just as fast as the rats in the senate shoot it down!
It matters to me. They should pass this bill every month from now til the cows come home. Focus on investigating and impeaching Obama and shut the rest of it down for all I care.
God Bless Michelle Bachmann. She has been working hard behind the scenes to make this happen. If the House REPEALED 0bamacare, THEY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO DEFUND IT. They are responsible for allocating funds, but King 0bama will override them just like he’ll ignore Federal Court rulings that his NLRB recess appointments are UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Just “reject voices” warning of Tyranny. LOL
Legislative wet dream.
Is that a carpet munching humanoid? You can spot 0bama employees a mile away.
The House of Representatives is reflecting the WILL OF THE PEOPLE!!!

The Internal Revenue Service official in charge of the tax-exempt organizations at the time when the unit targeted tea party groups now runs the IRS office responsible for the health care legislation.
Sarah Hall Ingram served as commissioner of the office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012. But Ingram has since left that part of the IRS and is now the director of the IRS’ Affordable Care Act office, the IRS confirmed to ABC News today.
Her successor, Joseph Grant, is taking the fall for misdeeds at the scandal-plagued unit between 2010 and 2012. During at least part of that time, Grant served as deputy commissioner of the tax-exempt unit.
Who needs railcars and gas chambers to eliminate undesirables when you have Sarah Hall Ingram?
What an excellent headline. That’s the end of ObamaKKKare. All that remains are the details of taking it down.
House repeals it if and only if they defund it, at this point in history. Nice they can voted this way, but they haven’t voted to repeal it which implies they can’t.
Olds from District C(rime)
It should be interesting to see how the top democrat candidate for governor in Michigan runs since Obamacare was his signature vote for his single term.
The democrat running for Levin’s seat is trying to sound conservative all of a sudden too.
You already did and it realy is.
“House Republicans voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act in its entirety, in a 229 to 195 vote largely along partisan lines.”
You mean, there are 424 Republicans in the House, and 195 of them were against repeal? The House voted. 229 of the Representatives, mostly Republican, voted for repeal. 195, mostly Democrats, voted against. MSM nitwits.
But seriously, folks. Even if it passes the Senate, Obama will veto it, and there aren’t enough votes for an override. So it’s a nice gesture, but so what.
Exactly. THis vote is completely meaningles, and they KNOW it.
