It’s health code in some places, but that doesn’t mean that people actually scrub out their ass-crack with soap, which would be required.

This seems alarmist.

1. What are the actual levels of e coli they measured in pools (public and private)?

2. What health consequences have actually occurred?

3. Could it be that they have been listening to the gun-rights folks saying that pools are more dangerous than guns?

The problem is people taking babies and toddlers into pools. Any child who is not potty trained, should not be allowed in a pool. Swim diapers don’t hold in germs. Yuck.
