Really? The families of the four dead Americans beg to differ.

"We're portrayed by Republicans as either being lying or idiots," said one Obama administration official who was part of the Benghazi response. "It's actually closer to us being idiots."

Well...we've known that for a long time now. Anything new to report?

A think I have seen this ploy many times on ID channel.

When the cops finally track down the killer, he will often say ok I killed her, but I didn’t mean too.

Admit what you know they can prove but distance yourself from the criminality of the act at the same time.

BS, us government, you have nothing but plots and malice.

Ditto for:

They’re all patriotic folks, just a little dumb, they’ll do better next time. If only the POTUS knew, he could have stopped it.

This is huge, adside from the admissions, for two reasons:

1. If Obama has IDIOTS working for him, shouldn't he fire them?

There is no way that the various House committees won't move heaven and earth to get these same people who spoke to CBS to testify. There will be a SELECT committee.

BTW..what's the over/under on how many minutes that Attkinson gets on the CBS Evening News tonight with this story..

Yep.

Doesn’t count. It’s the State Dept. They’re held to a higher standard than thuggery, at least by the Constitution.

This is just awful.

And where has that dopey congress been on this.

I hear a lot of complaints about Romney’s lack of follow through.

Makes me wonder if there are any brains at all.

It is not the job of a pres candidate (who might be a dope or a plant from the party in power or any other random guy) to hod the executive branch in check.

The House has been utterly wimpy on this and it’s not good enough.

They need to get the heck off the golf course, put the cocktails down and get to work.

They can start by reviewing the Constitution and continue with familiarizing themselves with their role in upholding it, and THEN they can find out what the other branches ar e doing to destroy our childrens’ future, as the Constitution is all they have to protect themselves.

I would hope Sharyl Attkisson is not buying this concocted story, eight+ months later, under the condition of anonymity, of mistakes not malice.

IF THIS WERE THE CASE, these "anonymous" officials (and even the public ones) would have been saying this from THE VERY BEGINNING.

That they were not, tells you all you need to know. This is pure CYA since 'mistakes' aren't criminal. Malice is and was.

Death is just about as much malice as you can visit upon an individual, and it came wrongfully not once, but four times, in just this one incident.

But, “it’s nobody’s fault”.

Unless, of course, the blame can somehow be shifted to either George W. Bush, or the Republican majority in the House of Representatives.

It’s a stretch, but they are working on it.

That is the damn straight truth. The entire IRS is compromised, and at a time when it is suppose to be taking on Obama care and it's unbiased and competent implementation. It's now quite clear they can't, and Obama care should be immediately repealed for that reason. Benghazi was a keenly revealing event that established that the state department is incapable of carrying out it's duties in a competent fashion, and bears the responsibility for getting people killed needlessly, then lying about everything that happened. The justice department is a central feature of this mess of an administration, that is lead by a racist and incompetent liar and criminal who never knows anything about anything in his own department.

This entire administration, with Obama as it's head, is a lousy second rate banana republic, that is an emmense embarrassment and failure.

...they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives

Four people DEAD in Behghazi while they all KNEW the attack could end up that way, they were aware of it, and would NOT let assets be deployed to save those lives. It's out and out accomplices to MURDER. Obama, Clinton any others that were involved are guilty of MURDER!

"incompetence rather than malice or cover up"....

Total BS, the incompetence was in thinking they could get away with the murder of those that could expose Obama's mid east "fast and furious" plan of gun running to his Muslim Brotherhood Islamic Terrorist friends. The buck stops at Obama, he is responsible for the murders and his top Adviser Valerie Jarrett--Islamic terrorism Sharia law etc supporter...needs to go to trial and be hanged for treason after being convicted.

"We're portrayed by Republicans as either being lying or idiots," said one Obama administration official who was part of the Benghazi response. "It's actually closer to us being idiots."

Actually closer to no response to the terrorist attack at Benghazi which they all were watching IN REAL TIME, cheering on the Islamic Jihad terrorists so key players in the Obama/Jarrett gun (heavy munitions actually that would be used against out Military assets eventually) running.

JUSTICE for the four dead brave Americans who begged for more security for MONTHS and over and over again during this raid.

Two Generals who could have ordered help at a moments were reprimanded for wanting to send help and were told to STAND DOWN by Obama so those that could expose him for the treasonous traitorous Islamic sympathizing would be taken out.

Being idiots, what a lame cover. They knew EXACTLY what they were doing as they watched Americans being killed.

Obama, Clinton, Jarrett ---BRING THEM TO TRIAL, PERP WALK THEM TO GITMO! Along with this "administration official who was part of the Benghazi response." Saying I was just doing what I was told still should bring this one the death penalty after a fair trial. Oh, and NOT BY HOLDER, who would let them off.

He's a whole 'nother story as to why he should be tried for being a treasonous traitor to America and our Constitutional Republic.

They were caught DELIBERATELY lying for weeks.
They ALLOWED the US Ambassador to be be killed by not sending help.
They sent a man to prison for a video that had nothing to do with the attack.
They dont see anything wrong with any of this.

These are VERY DANGEROUS PEOPLE.

Me thinks Benghazi was an illegal CIA prison.. One of those prisons 0bama bashed Bush for, and he couldn't let the existence of it get out before the election. Hence, FBI delays getting to the site.. This WOULD HAVE harmed 0bama's voter support for sure. Keeping a lid on those 37 'survivors' was paramount, some of them prisoners.

Here's the big issue...and it stinks of cover-up and dereliction of duty: Why was a stand-down order given? Even if the Special Ops/marines/air force were too late by an hour, at least it would have shown they made the attempt. So Obama IS impeachable for either reason. Question is, who's got the sand to Impeach the Imposter?
