GOP Rep. Mike Kelly was a huge hit at Friday’s House hearing on IRS harassment of conservative groups as he skewered acting IRS commissioner Steven Miller.
Some tasty highlights from his fiery rant:
Rep Kelly to Miller: You think this is uncomfortable? Try being a citizen being targeted by the IRS.

I have two thoughts on this.
1) Once one of these people are threatened with true and real jailtime, they’ll sing like canaries.
2) They’ll never sing. They’ll either get a slap on the wrist or be found in a seedy DC motel with a dirty g-string and a used needle stuck in their arm.
I want Obama, Schumer, Pelosi, Holder, Reid, and a host of others to do SERIOUS jail time for this. Who believes that this was simply a case of a few rogue IRS individuals? This goes all the way up to Obozo, and they did this for political gain. They need to see the inside of a 4x6 cell.
And Jarrett, Jack Lew, Eric Holder, Kathleen Sebelius, Ken Salazar, the whole damn bunch of them.
Including the top dog who is responsible for all of them.
After they do jail time, they should be audited by the IRS 24/7 for ten years running as probation.

Normally, I hear these things during hearings and keep thinking “Stop with the filibuster and ask a question!” In this particular case, though - Rep. Kelly was getting more ticked off as he went.
This was a lecture. And it resonates.
Someone FINALLY demanded names. All it takes is one, and we're off to the races. That's why Miller forgot to bring the list.
Yeah, he can't remember the names of the two "rogue" employees.
The dog ate my homework. I didn't do it. Nobody saw me do it. You can't prove anything.
The problem is that he wasn't uncomfortable at all. He's retiring with a lucrative pension paid for by his years of IRS overreach. He lied all day long.
How much you want to bet that Kelley ends up on the other side of the table within 2-3 months?
If any man has first dibs on your wages you are a slave to that man. Worse yet, you are a sharecropper because the master doesn't have to worry if you or your family starve to death.
But, in one month it will be business as usual as the Kenyan King grinds us into third world poverty.

This has “disband the IRS, make the income tax illegal, and disallow public employee unions” written all over it.
Yep, he said exactly what needed to be said. I just wish that one of these guys would also ask Miller, based on what we have found out this week about how the IRS has been targeting political enemies of the Obama Administration, how in the world anyone can have faith that the agency will equitably carry out its Obamacare enforcement actions, free of political misuse.
