Speaking at Ohio State University this month, Barack Obama urged students to pay no attention to those paranoid types who "incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity." Oddly enough, in recent days the most compelling testimony for this view of government has come from the president himself, who insists, with a straight face, that he had no idea that the Internal Revenue Service had spent two years targeting his political enemies until he "learned about it from the same news reports that I think most people learned about this." Like you, all he knows is what he reads in the papers. Which is odd, because his Justice Department is bugging those same papers, so you'd think he'd at least get a bit of a heads-up. But no doubt the fact that he's wiretapping the Associated Press was also entirely unknown to him until he read about it in the Associated Press. There is a "President of the United States" and a "Government of the United States," but, despite a certain superficial similarity in their names, they are entirely unrelated, like Beyoncé Knowles and Admiral Sir Charles Knowles. One golfs, reads the prompter, parties with Jay-Z, and guests on the "Pimp With A Limp" show, and the other audits you, bugs your telephone line and leaks your confidential tax records. But they're two completely separate sinister entities. So it's preposterous to describe Obama as Nixonian: Beyoncé wouldn't have given Nixon the time of day.
If you believe this, there's a shovel-ready infrastructure project in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you. In April last year, the Obama campaign identified by name eight Romney donors as "a group of wealthy individuals with less than reputable records.....

Here we see the jaundiced view of America held by Obomba and his coterie of haters.
It is an article of faith among these progressives and socialists that all of our laws, rules/regs, our institutions, etc, serve only to preserve the "status quo"---a system that advances those they deem as "unworthy."
They consider "the system" as onerous and unfair b/c it keeps "their people" in poverty. The poor, the less successful, the less ambitious, the less talented----these losers are all "victims" of capitalism---therefore it must be destroyed.
==========================================
The Obamatons cunningly suppressed the vote---siccing the IRS on conservative/patriotic voters. The O Team crippled the Republicans who had already shot themselves in the foot by picking Romney----another one of their loser candidates.
And recall that stupid RINO Pubbies ALSO called for investigations of Tea Party groups' tax status.
============================================
Obomba's sinister shadow hovers over America----a constant threat to our liberty and our lives. He's got DHS stockpiling ammo---and intends to multiply the onerous IRS forces----adding 16,000 new IRS agents, arming them w/ millions of ammo rounds (the "civilian ntl security force thats just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded as our military").
O probably intends to task the IRS to enforce the nightmare of immigrations reform----to keep his filthy hands on the levers of power.
CRAVING POPULARITY IS A SIGN OF DICTATORSHIP Obomba's methodology, including controlling the fawning press is a relic of 40's-era Europe---Pol Pot, Chavez, and Stalin, all rolled into one.
Four - His job IS to be dishonest

ALL: Read the whole thing...
Assuming this is all accurate, this makes it clear the IRS and Justice Dept were doing Obama’s bidding. This nexus is huge, and I’m guessing there are a lot more like it about to be disclosed.
“In April last year, the Obama campaign identified by name eight Romney donors as “a group of wealthy individuals with less than reputable records...
[O]ne of the named individuals, Frank VanderSloot, was informed by the IRS that he and his wife were being audited. In July, he was told by the Department of Labor of an additional audit over the guest workers on his cattle ranch in Idaho.”
I read something yesterday that showed all Obama’s golfing in a new light. There are no buggs on the golf course. This is where he can confidentially execute his “more sensitive” orders.
If that’s the case, maybe we need to start paying a lot more attention to his golfing partners.
Perfect: “Like you, all he knows is what he reads in the papers. Which is odd, because his Justice Department is bugging those same papers, so you’d think he’d at least get a bit of a heads-up.”
“Makes you wonder how the 0bama regime turned John Roberts.”
That continues to bug me.
Pray the Lord will continue to disclose these things. That was my prayer this National Day of Prayer, and I know thousands of others prayed the same. I personally believe all this is the result of those prayers.
We are being morphed at warp speed into a totalitarian state. It won't be long until the gulags are put to full use.
Is it any wonder why they want to take our guns away?

Thanks for the ping Twotone.

Mark Steyn gets serious. Not a whole lot of humor in this one, but it’s definitely the cutting edge of the truth.
Thank you for the ping and post.

My response is:
We might not have the course “bugged” ah but the Rooskys might be a different matter, and then there’s the Chinks. They’re into everything.
The obvious is obvious to anyone paying attention, but Steyn has a way of making it obvious even to those who don’t want to admit it.
We are not “heading” towards tyranny. We are there.
We are not “becoming” a police state. We are a police state.
I see the "we still have our guns" delusion as one of the most deceptive aspects of the totalitarian takeover. Think about it -- what does it matter that we still have guns?
I think it is probably the biggest fallacy still comforting those not yet convinced of how far gone we are, this belief that as long as we can still keep firearms we are free. It is a completely ridiculous delusion, but it keeps us from paying attention to the fact that it no longer matters. They can shut anyone down with a keystroke, freezing assets and accounts. They can bleed anyone down to nothing with paperwork.
