Fox is reporting a train has derailed in Connecticut. 20 to 25 injured. Two trains collided.

Didn’t Al-Queda at one time have plans to derail trains at rush hour?
I hope the injury toll doesn’t escalate. I was afraid of a big death toll. That’s what comes to mind when filled trains collide.

One of the trains was headed toward NYC and Grand Central Station.
Fox continues to report that both trains are still upright, just off the rails.
Video is coming soon, but they say it’s more of a sideswipe than a head on.

I lived by RR tracks for years and was always fearful of this.
With a 100,000 H1-B, L1, “student” and “refugee” jihadi wannabes here they don’t really need a set of formal plans, do they?
My friend is a conductor. He was on board one of the trains that collided in Canoga Park a few years back. You may remember it.
The trains stop immediately, because of equal force. Now I know that isn’t exactly right, because cars and people still do move, but the point is, people are thrown great distances inside the cars.
My friend was tossed between 20 and 30 feet hitting the end of the car. He woke up partially covered with other bodies.
He couldn’t bend his knee for a few days, and finally had some surgery due to his maladies.
These sorts of accidents are very messy.

That is between Fairfield & Bridgeport train stations, likely the wreck is in Bport just past Fairfield line near State St railroad overpass. Just judging by that picture.
CT needs to follow up with a law to ban trains with a capacity of more than 10 people. Or is it 7?

If we cannot do conventional rail safely, what is going to happen when these things are going 220 miles per hour? And if terrorists want a target rich method to cause havoc, derail some trains.
