Family unification is a deal breaker. If they have jumped the border, they bring no one with them for five years and then none other than core family. Wife and kids. No ma, no pa even. And no kids older than 13.

Since family reunification has been enshrined in law since 1965 it’s not going anywhere. So ANY amnesty brings 50 million in. There’s no way around it. They will not stop chain immigration, period.

Perry is no conservative.

Not only is he pro-Amnesty with his in state college tuition for illegals.... he forced young girls to take an STD vaccine....that not only offended family-values Texans.....but the vaccine (HPV) itself has a high fail rate and a high kill rate. Perry did this without the state legislature voting on it, and received a bribe from the vaccine maker. Folks in TX killed the program after they heard about it

And I haven’t even got to his land-grab private property seizure for the NAFTA Superhighway....

Rick Perry is no Conservative..... look at his actions....and not what he says

Standing strong on immigration and border security is what we need right now...not amnesty!

This has been the topic on the KLBJ talk shows in Austin for a week or so. The Austin silly council wants to make the city an immigrant friendly city with the focus on Hispanics and Latinos. The only thing I am not for that the gov is, is instate college tuition, even if the kids have been here all their lives.

There have been a lot of third or fourth generation callers who really oppose that idea. We have a Hispanic couple living up the street from us. They hate the illegal immigrants as much as I do. Neither is fluent in Spanish. She had to learn Spanish to work at the bank at her new job.

I agree with every point you make. I do believe the CBP could and would do a much better job if the ROEs were changed. I have worked with these fine people for a while now and their heart is in the hunt but their hands have been tied by our FERAL Government

Also armed military with ROEs to engage drug smugglers with weapons hot must be issued. You spot a mule train or vehicle suspected of drug running you light it up. After a few illegal smugglers get smoked they will quit running from CBP. Right now the illegals and their smugglers know all they need to do is go above the speed limit and CBP has to back off and turn over to CSO or State

One figure since amnesty has been being batted around is. In the Texas Falcurrias Sector which is about 80 miles wide, CBP is putting on the ground on average 3000 a week. They estimate they are catching 8 to 10 percent. Prior to amnesty traffic was slowing down and mainly drugs were fare of the day. Now the drugs are slipping thru

That kind of attitude that they have in Austin...and that some of our misguided government respresentatives...have is so blatantly racist that I don’t see how we, as another race, couldn’t sue their butts on that account!

Of course your neighbors feel like you do. They ARE Americans, and they abided by the rules and have made a REAL life for themselves here in Texas. I have friends who have done the same.

Abide by the law or leave and come back within the guidelines set out...or be deported by law. I’m tired of feeling like I live in a third-world country whenever I go to the mall!!

Our neighbors (Sandra and Mark) actually left Ca. because as she put it, “It was turning into Mexico” about 12 years ago. They bought a new house, boat, SUV for him, put in a pool and had money left over for their grandkids college.

They sound like good neighbors! God bless ‘em for “seeing the light” and coming to Texas! :)

I believe that they could get all that from selling their home in CA. I have seen homes like mine, which isn’t very big, sell for $500,000 there. It’s crazy.

Maybe we could just clone Abbott and Senator Cruz while we were at it.

Bingo! We have a Winner! Both of them are absolutely the top of the crop of POLs.
