The firestorm buffeting the Internal Revenue Service intensified Friday as lawmakers began what they promised would be an extensive effort to learn whether there was any political motivation or White House involvement in the agencys recently acknowledged misdeeds.
Fueling those concerns, J. Russell George, the Treasury Departments top tax watchdog, said Friday he had informed top Treasury officials starting last spring about problems related to the special attention the agency was paying some conservative organizations seeking tax-exempt status.

I would have posted this thread earlier but I was too busy doing a book report, listing all the books I've read, gathering all my email and detailing the content of my daily prayers as part of my IRS audit. (Kidding.)
Acting IRS honcho, Steven Miller, who oddly remains in his job days after being "ousted" from his job, acknowledged his agency provides "horrible customer service," which suggests the IRS's customer service policy was designed by Kermit Gosnell.
Systematic criminal misuse of government resources, leaking confidential information, targeting political opponents for harassment -- all these should be enough to land you a second term if you're Barrack Obama and a big promotion at the IRS, with bonus points for having run the unit now under criminal investigation.
Miller said he installed Sarah Hall Ingram to run the IRS office in charge of Obamacare because she's an outstanding, "exemplary public servant" and a great worker who, like him, provided horrible customer service.
For systematically targeting and harassing Tea party groups in her previous job as head of the IRS's tax-exemption division, she got over $100,000 in bonuses, and a very lovely pair of boots, to plant on the necks of those subversive Tea party church ladies.
Ingram's yearly salary went from $172,500 in 2009 to $177,000 in 2012, (per Washingtonexaminer.com). In 2010, 2011 and 2012 she got annual bonuses exceeding $25,000, an amount requiring approval by Obama, (who says he just found out from the newspapers that he's president).
The IRS now claims Ingram left the tax-exemption shop for the Obamacare shop in December, 2010. This is the same honest, forthright and trustworthy IRS that planted a question at the ABA conference a week ago in order to confess it had targeted Tea party groups and to preempt the IG's report.
But even this excuse for Ingram doesn't work since the targeting began around the middle of 2010, months before Janet Napolitano's lookalike allegedly moved over to the Obamacare train-wreck.
With the IRS enforcing Obamacare, the union goons running the joint will finally be in charge of death and taxes. But, not to worry, over 90% of the 'fair' and 'impartial' IRS's union political donations somehow get funneled to the party of Kermit Gosnell. All is well.
Anyway, that's...
My Two Cents...

Saturday-morning ping! Have a great weekend, y’all!
I heard they were punished with “Oral counseling”....
I am not sure why Jocelyn Elders was involved

Who is responsible for these letters? Who wrote these questionnaires? Who's signature is at the bottom of the letters? These are the people should be brought to testify - under oath.
The IRS is now adding "how much toilet paper do you use".....b/c of Ohaha's penchant for a "green" America.
Lol
Did you see o Reilly last night?
Keep an eye out for Michael Wolf!
Connecting the dots.....
The Cincinnati office is the hub of the scandal because most of the battle ground states in the 2012 election were under that office’s purview.
Cincinnati’s role didn’t just happen, it was chosen.
While conservative free speech was being stymied, liberal group applications were being fast-tracked. The Barack H. Obama Foundation, a ‘charity’ begun by Barack’s half brother, received approval within 32 days. The approval was signed by Lois Lerner.
No malice? The malice comes with the deliberate harm done to the Romney campaign, and by extension, the American people. Targeting by definition is intentional. And targeting by the IRS is a violation of equal protection laws, and the Hatch Act.
We may never be able to prove Obama himself was involved, but the conspiracy between the Obama campaign and the IRS, to illegally influence the outcome of a presidential election is what all this should head toward.
I’ve probably missed this but all these stories of how long ago the abuses were being looked in to, did anyone put a halt to them?
Maybe not, but it was odd that 0bama told Medvedev he would have "more flexibility" after his reelection. How was he so sure he would be reelected?
Methinks now we know.

Yet yesterday Miller opined that the division that handles these reviews is woefully understaffed. Seems they are staffed well enough to review every page on a group's website, read book reports, consider political ambitions of members, delve into all donors and donation amounts, and explore the members' thought processes. The staffers sound like a bunch of voyeurs.
.
If we do away with Obamacare, can we get rid of the entire Obamacare enforcement team?
Another GREAT “My Two Cents”, John.
Watched the hearings. J.Russell George = House Negro. He did everything but answer “yes massa” when responding to questions, and his answers were almost as much non-answers as the other a$$hole, Miller!
Sad but very true. Thank you for your excellent wrap-up, dear JohnHuang2!

Wicked, wicked sense of humor! I’m so thankful for your posts, and for making me laugh.
You’ve come back with a vengeance, JH2, and I’m thankful for that, too!
