No,perhaps I wasn’t clear.
I emphatically agree opening the door was dumb.A lawyer could construe opening the door as an invitation to enter the home.
Ads certainly being alive to deal with lawyers is better than dead.

I just realize that except in very few cases,if any, is the home-owner or resident going to be able to shoot the intruder and not have expensive hassles as a result.

I understand but I have dealt with lawyers before and know several who would handle this type case free. I hope I never have to make the decision but I know what the decision would be.
