Jay Leno on Friday continued his humorous attacks on the White House.
The NBC Tonight Show host finished a string of opening monologue jokes aimed at President Obama saying, “Let me tell you how bad it's gotten: Fox News has changed its slogan from ‘Fair and Balanced’ to ‘See, I Told You So!’" (video follows with transcript and commentary):
JAY LENO: As you know, it's casual Friday, which means at the White House they're casually going through everyone's phone calls and records. It's a casual Friday.
I'm sure you heard by now President Obama fired his acting IRS commissioner. Apparently he was fired for acting like Richard Nixon’s IRS commissioner. That's why he got fired.
Well, you know, love him or hate him, you got to admit President Obama is a new kind of Democrat. I mean, think about it. He's embroiled in three scandals, not one of them involves sex. That has never happened before. That has never happened before.
It's been a tough week for President Obama. In fact, this morning he called Mitt Romney and said, "Look, if you still want the job."
Let me tell you how bad it's gotten: Fox News has changed its slogan from “Fair and Balanced" to "See, I Told You So!" See, that's not a good sign.
Makes you wonder if Leno knows that's the title of Rush Limbaugh's second book.
I can see why NBC forced him to retire.
Leno is having a great time. He knows his attacking Obaba is driving the Obama loving bosses at NBC crazy. Short of pulling him off the air, there is nothing they can do. Should get interesting because you know Obama’s people are complaining loudly.

Fox should approach him for a new late night show at his regular time.
Perhaps it’s the other way around — Leno’s using his monologues to reel in a contract with a much better network.
That could be true too..Leno is a flaming lib(And his wife is a huge abortion lover) but I give him credit for going after Obama..at least he has the guts to do it
He does this on Purpose to tweak Comcast Management......
And they deserve it.......
Leno is going “Scorched Earth.”
Guess Leno might want to go out with a bang. Of course, too little too late, from my perspective. The whole late-night talk-show genre lost every tiny remaining shred of credibility with me, with its soft treatment of Obama.
Actually, with me, the final straw was four years ago, when Letterman made that rape joke about Palin’s 13-year-old daughter, right on the heels of “slutty makeup” jokes and whatnot. When that happened, I just stopped watching ALL the late-night shows. I used to take a look at most of them, from time to time. But that was it for me. I haven’t watched a single, solitary minute of any of those shows ever since. None of them. And I don’t miss them.
That may be how he presents, but behind closed doors I think he's not. I was at a Dish Network dealer conference in 2004 where the conferees were inspected at the door for any recording devices, and once the last one was in they locked the door and brought out Leno to do an hour and a half show. The man was off-the-chain hilarious. Spewed venom at Bill and Hillary Clinton the whole time and had nothing but kind things to say about W. He may be a closet conservative. What you see on late night is him dialed way down.
“Well, Mr Leno, if that is your real name, you stated on your tax form how much that used car collection of yours was worth?”
I hear his wife is a lib, but he is fairly middle-of-the-road.
I think it is: We didn’t go far enough.
Wait a minute.... I think he's right!
Leno does go after Libs which I do appreciate but he has said some things about the Palin family that well, has pissed me off..but of all the comedians, Leno is the least that I can’t stand..he is no Letterman, cause Letterman is the ultimate douche bag..Leno can be very funny at times..so there is hope for him..put him on Fox and see if he can expand his audience
I think Leno got canned for this kind of talk, and I’m sure he’ll be audited for it.
Not very good is my guess. Of course I think they game those JayWalking videos. Not everyone is that stupid, and they make it look like everyone is clueless. Not that clueless IMO...
