Republicans owe Rice An Apology On Benghazi, Obama Adviser Says

WASHINGTON – White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said Sunday Republicans owe Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, an apology for alleging she played a part in formulating the White House’s response to the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, last year that killed four Americans.

Pfeiffer said on ABC’s “This Week” that the release of more than 100 pages of Benghazi emails and notes show “beyond a shadow of the doubt” that accusations she tried to change the narrative of what happened in the attacks was false.

"And, frankly, I think that many of the Republicans who have been talking about this, now that they have seen the emails, owe Ambassador Rice an apology for the things they said about her in the wake of the attack,” he said.

“An apology for what?” host George Stephanopoulos asked.

“For accusing her of misleading the country,” Pfeiffer said, adding, “For saying that she didn't -- that somehow we were -- she was involved in some sort of political whitewash of what happened there. What she said was what the intelligence community believed at the time. And when we got further information, we told the American people what that was. That's how people know what happened here.”

Pfeiffer’s comments aren’t likely to sit well with some, like GOP lawmakers like Sens. Lindsey Graham and John McCain, who led the charge against her and claimed she played an active role in the conspiracy to hide what actually happened during the Benghazi attacks.

Are they trying to deny what we already know?

When will distracting charges of racism begin?

Apologize for what, castigation over her lying? Oh yes; no evil should ever meet its punishment, per the libs.

The insistence on an apology (or of being insulted/offended) not only cuts off the argument, but lets the miscreant take charge. Suddenly, you’re the bad guy. It’s standard fare for evil-doers.

I can’t help but laugh. This administration has absolutely owned the media and they have gotten away with crap like this so often in the past they still think it will work.

This is absurd. Completely absurd. They know it, we know it, and it appears the MSM has finally realized it. This week will be real important. Will the media switch back to protective mode or will they continue the little bit of skepticism they have shown in the past few weeks?

I may be a minority on this issue, but, I’ve always wondered why nobody talks about the fact that we were fed “talking points” in the first place.

Why were we fed “talking points” as opposed to the facts of the situation?

And, you wonder why Susan Rice, UN Ambassador who had nothing to do with Bengazi (sp?), was sent out there to do this, instead of Hillary Clinton.

And the media gave Hillary a pass when she said that she has better things to do on a Sunday morning than go on the Sunday news shows. okay.................

By the way, we cannot let Benghazi fade behind the rest of the Ubama scandals. It is my opinion that the IRS scandal was brought up NOW to try to get people off Benghazi - - and AWAY from Hillary Clinton.

The IRS scandal is all about protecting Hillary, and the IRS scandal, in process for at least 9 months, may have been brought to the surface NOW by the Clintons. NOTHING in politics happens by coincidence. PLUS, it’s a “two-fer” - - deflect attention from Benghazi (and Hillary), AND spank Ubama for playing the race card and stealing Hillary’s destiny in 2008.

These scandals are exactly what happens when a guy who is elected to enforce the laws passed by the legislature decides to continue campaigning rather than doing his constitutional job. His “job” so to speak was a simple one, here is the law, these are the ones you enacted into law and some of which you campaigned for. The campaigning is over, DO YOUR JOB. Campaigning for this guy is 100% non stop and it is always 100% devisive. Add that to an intractable persona, no compromise on anything, and you get this monolithic narcissist we have the in the Oval office. So, when those working for him, those who are working in that part of government which is supposed to carry out the laws of the land, what they hear is they need to smite any form of opposition or counter arguments. The rest is history.

Obama Aide: ‘Irrelevant’ Who Edited Benghazi Talking Points

MAY 19, 2013

Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer said this morning on TV that it’s “irrelevant” who edited the Benghazi talking points:

And the question isn’t who edited what talking points. That is largely irrelevant. What is relevant is to make sure that never happens again which is why the president is calling on Congress to pass legislation to beef up embassy security around the world and protect our diplomats.”

http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/obama-aide-irrelevant-who-edited-benghazi-talking-points_724894.html

*******

Pass more legislation that we will just ignore. Yeah, that should “ fix” the problem!

this administration and its crony democrats are so far beyond even being in the realm of arrogance in their public lies and denials, this is astounding. That in its self is a scandal worthy of prosecution. It’s just sad that there aren’t more in Congress willing to uphold their oath of office in protecting this country from these criminals. Congress should at least pass immediate legislation to disarm the DHS before its too late.

According to Hillary Clinton’s long-delayed Benghazigate testimony, the State Department just did not have enough money to provide security for a mission in one of the most dangerous places in the world.

It did however have 16 million dollars to spend on 2,500 kindle book readers at the drastically inflated price of $6,600 per device.

How much security could that 16 million buy?

It had $79,000 to spend on Obama’s books and $20,000 on a portrait of Obama. The US Embassy had $150,000 to spend on a book about the ambassador’s residence. The US Embassy in Austria had $150,000+ for a Chevy Volt and its charging station.

And here is what else Hillary’s State Department did have money for…

7.9 billion dollars for Obama’s Global Health Initiative.

1 billion for global climate change.

2.2 billion to strengthen democratic institutions in Pakistan.

And of course… Mosque renovations.

In 2011 the State Department provided funds to restore the 15th century Gobarau Minaret in Katsina State in Nigeria’s predominantly Muslim north, an area which has become a virtual killing field for Christians at the hands of Muslim militants, led by the al-Qaeda-linked terror group Boko Haram.

And $4.5 million for Art in Embassies

The New York Times reported in 2009 that Art in Embassies spends about $4.5 million a year for permanent art acquisitions; chief curator Virginia Shore said at the time that artists and dealers support the program via favorable pricing; for the embassy in Beijing, an outlay of $800,000 yielded works with an appraised value of $30 million.

How much Benghazi security would 800,000 dollars have bought? If Hillary Clinton had stopped buying paintings, maybe four Americans would still be alive today.

The State Department also has a Chief Diversity Officer, whose job it is to warn that “holding the fort” is a racist phrase.

As far as security goes, 200 million dollars were wasted on Iraqi police training that never went anywhere.

What’s more, I maintain the Ubama / Chicago mob is seriously considering running Moochelle in 2016. The Chicago mob does not relinquish power easily. If they do run Moochelle - - and glimpses of the grooming process are there if you look for them - - then we will see a mob war between the Chicago mafia and the Dixie mafia that should be really, really good.

Stock up on popcorn.
