Weather service has issued a Particularly Dangerous Situation warning.

This is a new large tornado wrapped in rain, on the ground.

People are nuts...this is a very dangerous and violent Tornado....

Reporting multiple vehicles overturned....trailerparks a mess....(highway patrol)

Multi Semi’s overturned.....!!!!!

They’re saying it’s redeveloping again....west Of Johnson....another west of Dale.

s like the whole storm system is a giant Tornado..they said...

There’s three in this mass...and they’re all violent they’re saying....

Reports coming in Semi trailers overturned...and relocated....multiple cars overturned...just a huge super cell!

The good news is everybody was warned and had a plan in their minds to be somewhere ~safe. We won’t see fatalities and injuries like we did with Granbury. Mass destruction but everything will be rebuilt, shiny and new.

Unfortunately, no. Fatality already reported and numerous vehicles were overturned at the I-40 and 177 intersection.

EXTREME NORTHEASTERN POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA...

* UNTIL 730 PM CDT

* AT 657 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS DANGEROUS
STORM WAS LOCATED 4 MILES NORTHEAST OF JOHNSON...AND MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

IN ADDITION TO A TORNADO...LARGE DESTRUCTIVE HAIL UP TO TENNIS BALL
SIZE IS EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM.

* Tornado Warning for...
northern Polk County in central Iowa...
southwestern Story County in central Iowa...

* until 715 PM CDT

* at 648 PM CDT... a confirmed tornado was located 5 miles east of
Dallas Center... and moving northeast at 50 mph.

Hazard... damaging tornado and Golf Ball size hail.

Source... radar confirmed tornado.

Impact... Mobile homes will be heavily damaged or destroyed.
Significant damage to roofs... windows and vehicles will
occur. Flying debris will be deadly to people and animals.
Extensive tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
Grimes... Urbandale... Johnston... Polk City... Ankeny... Huxley...
Saylorville Lake... Saylorville... Sheldahl... Slater... Alleman...
Elkhart... Cambridge and Maxwell.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 126 and 132.

We had a tornado warning here in Calhoun County earlier. The sirens even went off. Which was bad, because we had about 75 people gathered for my son’s graduation reception. But, thankfully, all we got out of it was some high winds and heavy rain. Sure ended the party in a hurry though!

Debris piles where homes one stood.

Warnings from the storm that started by Edmond. Weaker, but still a threat:

The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
northwestern Okfuskee County in east central Oklahoma...
southwestern Creek County in northeast Oklahoma...

* until 800 PM CDT

* at 709 PM CDT... a large and extremely dangerous tornado was located
9 miles west of Paden... moving northeast at 30 mph. This life
threatening tornado is capable of extreme damage!

* Some locations in or near the path of this storm include... Paden
and Welty.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A large and extremely dangerous tornado is on the ground! This is a
life threatening situation!

If you are in the path of this tornado... take cover immediately! If
no underground shelter is available move to an interior room on the
lowest floor. Mobile homes and vehicles should be abandoned for more
substantial shelter. Avoid windows!

Creek County...

At 705 PM CDT... a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles southwest of Mannford... moving northeast at 30
mph. This storm has weakened... however it remains capable of
producing a tornado.

Some locations in or near the path of this storm include... Mannford.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

If you are near the path of this storm... take cover now! If no
underground shelter is available move to an interior room on the
lowest floor. Mobile homes and vehicles should be abandoned for more
substantial shelter. Avoid windows!
