During a commencement address at Bowie State University on Friday, first lady Michelle Obama urged the graduates of the historically black university to "please stand up and reject the slander that says a black child with a book is trying to act white," instructing them to "be an example of excellence for the next generation."

Agree. I have had black people tell me that they “have to act white” in order to make it in the business world. They say it in their communities not white folks. It’s 1000% cultural.
Those that become truly educated and wealthy are considered “white” and therefore they try to destroy them... like they have with every successful American with black skin. Look what they did to Herman Cain. The smartest man on the SCOTUS is a black man named Clarence Thomas... they hate him and call him a house ****** and an Uncle Tom. You are a hateful demon and a racist moochelle... and you will always be gutter trash and urban evil.

The times I spent overseas working for an American company was revealing to say the least.
Employed were many black Africans and black Americans. The Africans were for the most part congenial and eager to do their jobs and never raised a ruckus.
The American blacks were at times prone to display a rude and irritating sense of entitlement.
In a crowd the American blacks could easily be picked out by their mannerisms and how they carried themselves.
Just stating what many observed but were bound by PC doctrine.

If “too many” blacks start valuing education and reading,
then those who choose not to lose their excuse.

The ones who “Act White” are the smarter ones.

Maybe she should urge them to “Act White”.
They’ve set back race relations by 30 years.

It's not trying to act white, it's "Acclimation to Freedom".
Some people obviously can't handle freedom.
Many people, of many different colors are working as hard as possible to deprive all of us of said freedom.

The Obamas are assaulting a happy day for these graduates , by using their special day to pour the progressive politics of hate and revenge into their accomplishments.

This is the type of thing that President and Mrs. Obama should have been shouting from the rooftops since DAY ONE. Instead, we hear it just from her, well into his second term.
if she really wanted to change this, she would be speaking at some underachieving inner city high school, but since she thinks this slander comes from the ‘whiteys’ hating on educated blacks, she gets to be angry and perpetuate the problem instead.
