Former A.G Eric Holder public affairs chief Tracy Schmaler joins ASGK Public Strategies.

"ASGK Public Strategies, the firm headquartered in Chicago, founded by David Axelrod and Eric Sedler, is creating a new practice group--focusing on crisis communications, litigation and issues management--and signed Tracy Schmaler, former Director of the Office of Public Affairs at the Department of Justice, to helm the operation.

Schmaler will be an ASGK Managing Director and head of the new practice group, based in Washington.
