The Justice Department obtained a portfolio of information about a Fox News correspondent's conversations and visits as part of an investigation into a possible leak, The Washington Post reported Monday -- in the latest example of the government seizing records of journalists.
The information follows the charge that the department secretly obtained two months of phone records from Associated Press journalists as part of a separate leak probe.
In the case involving Fox News' James Rosen, a government adviser was accused of leaking information after a 2009 story was published online which said North Korea planned to respond to looming U.N. sanctions with another nuclear test.

Good thing Obama didn’t know about this. /s
It’s never a good idea to pi$$-off Roger Ailes(sp).
That is what it appears to be. According to the DOJ, Rosen (a member of the free press})is now a ‘conspirator’ in their eyes.
I want to know (a) the chain of command in the DOJ that pursued this; and (b) the name of the judge signing the search order.
Stinking Democrat nazis.
Freedom of the press, the due reward for journalists who report the glories of dear leader...
Hmmmm....so where were all of these crack DOJ investigators when Seymour Hersh was regularly blowing overseas intelligence operations?
DOJ = Gestapo
Don't Feed The Bears! There's no going back now. This is the land of garbage dump bears and they don't care what the government does to them as long as they get a free "picanic basket."
You know, “Rosen” could be a Jewish name. Gestapo indeed.
Who is Winston Smith?
The real Q is, will the rest of the media wake up and ask themselves, "What if it was me they targeted?". Will they start to turn on Zero and his Marxist army? Will enough reporters drop out of the Obama Propaganda Army and start doing some real reporting on this "most transparent administration in history"? Inquiring minds want to know....
Report: DOJ Investigated Fox News Reporter in 2009 Leak Probe
“I’m not saying it’s unprecedented, but I can’t think of a case in which this has ever happened before,” said Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume.
Fox News’ executive vice president of news, Michael Clemente, released a statement defending Rosen. The statement issued Monday afternoon is below:
“We are outraged to learn today that James Rosen was named a criminal co-conspirator for simply doing his job as a reporter,” Clemente said. “In fact, it is downright chilling. We will unequivocally defend his right to operate as a member of what up until now has always been a free press.”
Maybe these trends go up and down based on "gubmit" check delivery cycles.
Do you believe these polls? Talk to people. That is the only REAL poll. I blame the media for much of this because they are complicit in 0bama’s crimes and have known about his evil since the day he took office.
