She thought she was making a topical political joke, but a co-creator of ‘The Daily Show’ managed to enrage many of her followers after tweeting joke about the Oklahoma tornado’s political motivations.
‘This tornado is in Oklahoma so clearly it has been ordered to only target conservatives,’ wrote comedian Lizz Winstead, in a tweet, around 3:30 Monday afternoon.
The tweet was an apparent attempt at using the occasion of the May 20 twister to comment on the scandal currently plaguing the IRS and Obama administration.
Winstead, co-creator and former head writer for ‘The Daily Show,’ promptly received a stream of angry responses to her tweet.

Oh they are already doing it less than 24 hours out. Comparing the needs for fed assistance to the Sandy bill without little regard that the Sandy bill was a big huge Christmas tree loaded up with spending that had nothing to do with the disaster. They did the same thing with the West TX disaster. Last week with the Granbury disaster. And already today with OK City. Instead of putting the brakes on politics for a moment in time and to think of the people who are hurting, they stomp on the gas full speed ahead with their angry political rants. And they are suppose to be the caring party and we are not, I think it is completely opposite.

Hypocrisy? Is she saying that the IRS is essentially a random force of nature that wreaks destruction wherever it goes and it just happened to wander into the tea party and nobody is to blame for that so it's hypocritical to point fingers at Obama or his administration? Is that her point? Does she really believe that? Is she that stupid?
