Max Bacchus (sp?) has given his remarks. Orren Hatch is just finishing his now. All the usual phrases are being used, “make sure this never happens again”, etc.

Requirements to make sure this doesn’t happen again:

Abolish the IRS and income tax via amendment
Prohibit government employee unions

Bachus says this has caused the people to lose trust in the IRS. LOL

I lost my trust in the IRS about the first time I got a paycheck.

Where is the accountability?

The left has made sure that the IRS is the most feared entity in the US Government.

Seriously, who would you rather have show up at your door, an IRS agent or an FBI agent?

Miller has GOT to be kidding! He’s pulling out the old “haven’t had time to prepare” line again! Is he just going to repeat word for word his evasions from LAST WEEK?

Since when does the witness set the agenda?

Miller says that due time considerations a statement is in writing. Did I hear that right?

The new witness today is previous IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman, he was there a couple of years. Appointed by Bush, you know the Dems are going to shout that at every opportunity.

Now here come Miller again, “I was not aware”, blah blah. I think this is going to be a re-run on his part.

Bacchus’s second question is if Shulman knew about this, as he was there in 2012.

What a joke. Baccus stumbling around and affecting mock outrage, yet he was one of the signers of a letter to IRS to look into the Tea Party groups’ tax status. The fact that he is the person running the hearings should be the real outrage.

In my fantasy world, Hatch would ask if there was any outside influence, and Shulman would say, yeah we thought Senator Baccus’s letter asking us to spy on the Tea Party was a good idea...

Amendment XIV.4: The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.

If a current government is indebting Americans in rebellion against our constitution form of government, I read to above the Constitutional clause to say the people are NOT in anyway obligated to make good those debts.

Federal Reserve take note!

Senator Nelson is giving IRS a soft ball question about social welfare organizations can engage in political activity. He’s showing no concern about the wrongdoing by the IRS.

Pat Roberts is reaming the IRS witnesses accusing them of acting like his 4 year old daughter’s childish behavior. Accuses IRS of political harassment and no one will accept reponsibility. Says IRS has been politicized.
