What would that have to do with evidence or truth? If nothing, then why invoke it?
Are you saying “Someone can believe the moon is made of green cheese” and that is that belief is “not accessible” to anyone outside that person? If that is your belief, what does that have to do with the discussion Zacharias is making?
Paul says in Romans that every man is without excuse...and that every man knows there is a God beyond himself....so I think you are correct.
By the way, I think the idea you just expressed is sometimes called “Pascal’s Wager”, or something like that...some 18th century French mathematician (?) who was a believer. He made this argument, or something like it.
I think it approaches the reality of God in the mathematical limit...asymptotically. It's my primary physical reason for belief.
I just got done reading Jeremiah and Lamentations. He had such a deep love of God and of the Jews. Yet Jeremiah understood their absolute wickedness and rebellion. If one has any doubts about the sovereignty of God, they should read Lamentations, something you don't get in Sunday School these days.
Lam 2:18 Their heart cried to the Lord. O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears stream down like a torrent day and night! Give yourself no rest, your eyes no respite!
...
Lam 3:21 But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:
Lam 3:22 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;
Lam 3:23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
He is there and He is not silent.
