Homosexuals and “Progressives” have no desire to join the Boy Scouts and you not see any difference in supposedly “gay” scouts coming out. Just like marriage, they will not avail themselves of this supposedly new advantage.
Rather, their actions are about destruction - take down the key organizations of tradition - church, boy scouts, military, marriage - so that the rest of society can not find stability there.
Its a kind of societal vandalism - I don’t want to use it, but I don’t want you to use it either, so I am going to deface and destroy it.
BSA is a private organization. They have the right to set their standards for membership.
The leftist nazis want their way and will stop at nothing to force everyone to conform.
oh they’ll change the policy, and good parents will keep their kids away from them, and the BSA will become a sad parody of itself. kinda like a monty python version of boy scouts on parade, etc..
and their membership will decline, and nobody will know why, and within a short time they will cease to exist.

I believe no compromise is the order of the day. The BSA shouldn’t even consider it, and am concerned about the BSA leadership that they are.
If the BSA has to tighten their belt due lack of funding, or has to be reduced to local volunteer organizations then so be it. America will rise out of all of this Leftist BS in the future, and the BSA will be able to grow again without such precedence, and history to overcome.

Count me in that group. I will yank both my boys out of the BSA if they change their policy on this issue. A parent has to protect their children.
Not to be a pessimist, but I suspect that the BSA will yield. There is a lot of political pressure being placed upon them, and I think they will give in.

My oldest grandson is an Eagle Scout, serving on the Carrier Bush. His younger brother is a high school sophomore working
on his Eagle project. I tell you this, if the scouts turn gay, knowing their dad, the BSA will be dead to them. Plus their scout troop already has plans to disband if this happens.
But that will suit their enemies just fine. That is their ultimate goal; to eliminate any group that shines a light on their evil.

Admit the homo boys into scouting today and it will be homo Scout leaders next. Now wait a second,..how many homosexual boys do you know that really want to get into scouting? How many lawsuits have been filed by parents that wanted their homosexual sons to be admitted. Probably none. It’s not about fairness; it’s political BS because they want to either have access to young boys, destroy an institution that creates masculine men and has Christian values, or out of spite to prove they can do it as a warning signal to other conservative elements in their way? We know the answer. Stand firm BSA and give the faggots a good wedgie. The people will support you if you take a stand and prove that you believe in what you teach your scouts; to be brave, courageous, and morally straight. If you bow to the Gaystapo you are done. Years ago in my will I included a generous bequest to my church. Unfortunately the church to which my family has belonged for generations has walked away from the teachings of the Bible and they hymns I loved as a child. A year ago I removed the church from my will.
I also had in my will a generous bequest to the university where I received the education that helped me prepare for a successful business career. Over the past two decades it has become a bastion of political correctness and is no longer a place where I would send a young adult to receive a quality education.
Given my disappointment with my alma mater, a year ago I asked my attorney to redraft my will to shift most of the charitable bequest to the Boy Scouts of America. I appears I may soon be calling my attorney again for another revision.
The people putting pressure on the Boy Scouts are a small minority. They don’t want to join the scouts or become leaders. They don’t care if this private institution has to change it’s core values. They just want to destroy anybody or anything that gets in their way of foisting their homosexuality onto society.
I say leave the scouts alone and go start your own organization for gay kids. My family has been involved in scouting for a couple of generations and those of us who are still alive, are all against changing the high principles and standards by which they have always operated. I am an Eagle scout for 50 years now and would not send my medal back like some have done recently but I will not have any respect for the scouts anymore if they buckle under this pressure. The national directors should stand up for what they believe in or resign. They will do more harm than good by changing the rules.

Scout leadership gives in to this then Scouting is done IMO . As a Eagle Scout I enjoyed what scouting taught me. The professional career building skills I learned regarding leadership in scouting carried me through 26 years in the military and the past 19 as a civilian contractor.... Skills refined over the years yet the basics were embedded from tenderfoot to eagle.
Can’t see the leadership allowing such PC immoral change without compromising the Scout Oath at the very least. Doom on the leadership if they do.

Men and women of the past worked to make America great, and many gave their lives for their country. By being a good family member and a good citizen, by working for your country’s good and obeying its laws, you do your duty to your country. Obeying the Scout Law means living by its 12 points.
DUTY TO OTHER PEOPLE: Many people need help. A cheery smile and a helping hand make life easier for others. By doing a Good Turn daily and helping when you’re needed, you prove yourself a Scout and do your part to make this a better world.
DUTY TO SELF: Keeping yourself physically strong means taking care of your body. Eat the right foods and build your strength. Staying mentally awake means learn all you can, be curious, and ask questions. Being morally straight means to live your life with honesty, to be clean in your speech and actions, and to be a person of strong character.

Quite true. Homosexuality is characterized by sexual perversion. Sexual union between same sex couples can only be achieved by deviant and risky behavior resulting in mental and physical health issues, and added costs.
Anyone with significant experience camping and hiking with boys would NEVER allow openly homosexual boys because that would destroy the trek.
Officially endorsing gay scouts would do nothing more than support a transient popular culture that will not endure because it is counter to natural law.
Endorsing a policy contrary to natural law and common sense will only introduce chaos and seal the destruction of a highly successful program. ...very sad indeed.
It is worse than this. Churches will also have to make the decision whether they will continue to sponsor Boy Scout troops. If they allow it, they then run into the potential argument that they must allow other homosexual groups to use their facilities under the non-discrimination and civil rights laws.
Our attorney general and Civil Rights Commission here are already arguing that churches are “public accommodations” and therefore cannot exclude homosexuals from using the church for same-sex ceremonies.
Thus far, churches have opposed under the argument of religious freedom. However, once you permits some homosexual groups to use your facility, it is difficult you cannot be forced to allow all homosexual groups.
