Her lawyer - specifically - told Issa yesterday that she would NOT give an opening statement.
This is something that Issa pointed out when he broke for recess.
Thanks, kinda sounds like Lerner may have flat out ignored her attorneys advice. I wouldn’t think she’s a dim bulb with the job she has but she may be, or just plain arrogant.
