BREAKING: KMOV FIRES LARRY CONNORS
In April 2012 St. Louis News 4s Larry Conners grilled President Barack Obama on his extravagant vacation schedule and on bullying the Supreme Court.
The economy is a big concern for folks, I mean the unemployment, trying to make ends meet, gas prices, food prices going up. Some of our viewers are complaining that they get frustrated and angered when they see the first family jetting around different vacations and so forth
It was one of the few hard-hitting interviews the president sat through last year.
Last week Larry Connors revealed that after his interview with Barack Obama the IRS targeted him. He posted this on his Facebook page.
After this Larry Connors was taken off the air until further notice.....

Many “journalists” have well known leftist political viewpoints and we all know KMOV wouldn’t fire them
This could really be a good thing for St. Louis talk radio, and for Larry, too. He will be free to speak his mind.
Belo also used to be the conservative voice in Dallas, back when there were 2 newspapers. Their “Dallas Morning News” was the alternative to the liberal “Dallas Times Herald.” When the Herald ceased publication, the News became more liberal. I have no idea if Belo even owns the News anymore, as I quit reading it about 20 years ago when it evolved into propaganda and became worthless as a news source.
“appearance of bias that is inconsistent with important journalistic standards”
Oh my sides......
Horse manure. He took no position. Just stated what happened, and said the recent events make you wonder.
I have been boycotting all CBS affiliates since Dan Rather-Gate.
Belo still owns the Dallas Morning News and some smaller papers around the country. The newspapers were such a drag on the company that they were spun off into a separate entity a few years ago. But Belo can’t totally insulate itself from the newspaper losses, and that’s why the broadcast properties are so important, since they still make money.
During Watergate, if you’ll recall, the Nixon Administration tried to go after the Washington Post by threatening renewal of TV station licenses belonging to the Post-Newsweek group. But Nixon never had the FCC—and the rest of the federal bureaucracy—in his corner.
Mark my words: the next Belo reporter who gets a one-on-one with Obama will take a much more benign approach with their questions.
And thus the downfall of our country. In the olden days, the media would have told the President - or anyone else for that matter - to go pound sand if they had tried intimidation tactics. I remember when their motto was “the public’s right to know” and they were adamant about getting the story out, no matter what. Quite frankly, I’m still flabbergasted that the media is so impotent - and doesn’t even realize it! They think they are so powerful, but it’s only on topics that the administration approves. That is no power at all - it’s just propaganda. One day they will wake up and realize that the only thing they are are useful idiots.
Or one day they won’t wake up because they’ve been Breitbarted.
Intimidation works only when the intimidatee lets it.
