If not, a good lawyer should be able to have the sale voided. An adult lacking mental capacity is no more able to enter into a binding contract than a child is.
If he’s not competent, and the governor knew it, the governor may have committed some kind of fraud. Telling the guy not to talk to the media certainly doesn’t look good.
Isn’t there a thing called an unconscionable contract? Buying a $250,000 property for $32,000 seems prety unconsionable to me.
