Majorities of American voters say their family will be worse off under the Affordable Care Act, and think it would be better to go back to the pre-ObamaCare health care system.

A Fox News poll released Wednesday finds that while 26 percent of voters say their health care situation will be better under the new law, twice as many -- 53 percent -- say it will be worse. Another 13 percent say it won’t make a difference.

Almost all Republicans (85 percent) and just over half of independents (51 percent) say they will be worse off under ObamaCare. Nearly half of Democrats expect to be better off (48 percent), while about one-quarter believe they will be worse off (24 percent).

56 percent may want an end to socialist health care, but they did not vote that way just six months ago.

Which is kind of what we do right now, but it is still cheaper than a Federal government bureaucracy.

Yep. The majority of Obamacare supporters either haven’t figured out that it’s mandatory and they have to pay for it, or still think it’ll be a lot cheaper than their current costs. In California, they’re just barely getting their exposure to the reality of it. Somewhere around October it’ll finally show up on the LIV’s radar. Then the fun starts!

Most people think that it’s the big corporations, the oil companies, their utilities, their employers that are screwing them, and don’t ever think that the gummint can screw them as badly as Obamacare will. SURPRISE!

California came out with some preliminary fees this week that weren’t quite in that range, but they had this charming little provision that indexes not only the premium subsidy, but the actual benefits to your income. For a given plan, those who’ve spent productive lives will be charged from 2 to 10 times more in co-pays. The pharmacist will need to know your income range in order to compute how much your prescription will cost.

“Indeed. Let it get ugly. Let 0bamacare get ‘all up in people’s grills’. Bring it on. Send me another form, asking me if I buy Big Gulps. Let it get ugly, then exploit the F out of it so the Repubs can grow the House and get the Senate back.”

Hahahahahaha!!!

SW, thanks so much for the ping, and it’s so good to see you!

The only thing I would add is that “Repubs” = TEA Party.

Excellent post,GWG, Thank you!
