The Boy Scouts of America's National Council has voted to ease a long-standing ban and allow openly gay boys to be accepted as Scouts. Of the local Scout leaders voting at their annual meeting in Texas, more than 60 percent supported the proposal. Under the proposal drafted by the Scouts' governing board, gay adults will remain barred from serving as Scout leaders. The outcome is unlikely to end a bitter debate over the Scouts' membership policy. Some conservative churches that sponsor Scout units wanted to continue excluding gay youths, in some cases threatening to defect if the ban were lifted. More liberal Scout leaders - while supporting the proposal to accept gay youth - have made clear they want the ban on gay adults lifted as well.

So apparently the "60%" who voted in favor of this, are ok with a 13-17 yr old "gay" scout sharing a tent with a 10 yr old scout? Or following a young boy into the bathroom on their weekly meeting night, for some quickie sodomite anal perversion? And by the way.... how in the hell do 13-17 yr old "gay" scouts even KNOW that they are gay? Have they already been involved in anal butt sex and for how long? Are they being prompted to identify themselves as f__kin gay? Who coerced or raped them to join their sick homo ranks?

Very sad decision, but all this talk about it being the end of the Boy Scouts is ridiculous. The Boy Scouts will soldier on. A few people and organizations will cut off support and pull their kids, but it won’t be enough to make much of a difference. The Boy Scouts are here to stay and will be fine. Heck a majority of the kids probably support the decision since homo is apparently hip now.

But, exactly what was approved today? Is it still that each scout troop can have its own membership policy, or is it that all troops must now accept openly gay members?
