EXCLUSIVE: Todashev neighbors discuss FBI surveillance, shooting

ORLANDO, May 23, 2013 – Ibragim Todashev, a 27-year-old mixed martial arts fighter, was fatally shot at his Orlando townhouse during a meeting with an FBI agent and two Massachusetts state troopers yesterday, raising numerous questions in the minds of neighbors.

Todashev lived, and was killed, in the Windhaven condominium complex located in Orlando, Florida, near the Universal Studios theme park. Agents were reportedly talking to the man regarding his role in a 2011 triple murder in Massachusetts.

Todashev’s neighbors last night spoke of a person who rarely left the property, but spent hours detailing and cleaning a prized vehicle, believed to be a 1998 Mercedes Benz E Class 300 or 320 with AMG Wheels.

“He was constantly detailing his car, obsessively,” neighbor Brian Carvajal told Communities Digital News in an exclusive interview.

“Todashev was shot during a meeting in his home with Federal agents and two Massachusetts state troopers, authorities said. Authorities initially reported Todashev had lunged at the FBI agent with a knife, which provoked the shooting. However, officials later said it was no longer clear what had happened.”

this is another important one:

“Foremost in Carvajal’s mind is that Todashev could have been arrested at any time. He would often leave the condominium wearing little more than shorts, and obviously not concealing a weapon.

He asks, “Why did they have to arrest him in the middle of the night when they had been visibly watching him for the better part of a month?””

Have they been forbidden from revealing that he shouted "Allahu Akbar" as he attacked?

Tin foil hat time. I’m pretty much ready to believe anything of this administration.

“Carvajal said within 60 seconds of the gunshots, OPD were swarming into the complex, suggesting officers called for backup before they shot Todashev.”

What? They couldn’t bounce this fag’s head off the hood of a car as grey arrested him?

What is being covered up?

In the same boat, FRiend. I'm not really believing anything that I read anymore.

"First they came for the Chechens, but I wasn't one of them; so I didn't say anything."

How long until it's a peaceable American in his home watching American Idol with his family when the FBI blows down his door and claims he pulled a gun on them?

I've grown a particular disdain for law enforcement as of late. I've not really met any recently who don't feel a particular level of entitlement. I believe we are headed for very strange, very dangerous times.

I heard one report that an officer did go to the hospital for stitches from what appeared to be a knife wound.

Whose weapon discharged? I’m not ready to go down the conspiracy path - yet. I suspect there was just some sloppy trigger discipline in a tense situation. Someone who was scared flinched and pulled the trigger when Todashev moved in an unexpected manner. Explanation #1: “He had a knife”. Explanation #2: “The gun just went off”. Explanation #3: ???

Can we add the Orlando Chechen to the kenyan death list? How might he havebeen inconvenient to the kenyan? Could he have definitively contradicted the kenyan narrative?

Law Enforcement don’t “interview” people in their homes, they take them to a police station. And in the instance where they are determining if they want to conduct an “interview” the person of intrest is cuffed, and searched. Why were Mass. Police operating in Florida without a local cop being present?
This story is full of holes. What are they covering up?
