Barack Obama appointed Tuesday to help lead the Presidential Commission on Election Administration, Robert F. Bauer, said during the 2012 election that voter ID laws are a Republican tactic to suppress lawful votes.
During the 2012 election, the Obama team tapped Bauer to lead the legal teams for the campaign and the Democratic National Committee. Among his initiatives: fighting voter ID laws enacted by a number of states in an effort to combat voter fraud. During his time as the team’s organizer, Bauer told the Associated Press that he believes that the GOP is enlisting these new laws to impede the right to vote.

You’re right. There has been talk ever since Obamacare passed that we could defund it. But realistically, the House will not use their power over the nation’s checkbook to accomplish anything.
And now we see the liberals starting to say that the GOP can’t refuse to increase the debt ceiling, because money has already been spent, yadda, yadda, yadda, and children won’t be vaccinated, seniors won’t get Social Security checks, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Unfortunately, the GOP and conservatives have to battle both the Democrats and the media narrative. Democrats only have to do battle with Republicans.
Heck, Obama won both elections by narrow margins. Would he have won at all without such fawning coverage from the media???? That coverage may well have tipped the balance.
Obama acts like he has some mandate, but winning 51-49% is hardly an overwhelming vote of confidence.
Especially with WH/DOJ going after FOX.

Robert F. Bauer, who will take on part of the responsibilities of Norm Eisen, the departing Special Counsel to the President for Ethics and Government Reform, has a long and storied career in Washington. He has represented the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the Kerry and Obama presidential campaigns, and 527 organizations like Vote Now and America Coming Together. He’s defended Democratic politicians who ran into ethics trouble, including former Rep. Tony Coelho and former Sen. Robert Torricelli—both of whom were forced to give up their offices as ethics charges mounted against them. He’s filed ethics complaints against Republican and Republican-leaning organizations, most spectacularly when he prepared a complaint alleging racketeering on the part of former Republican Majority Leader Rep. Tom DeLay for extortion (for his aggressive fundraising), money laundering and illegally coordinating with section 527 groups to evade campaign finance laws. The suit was later dropped.

I agree with you that Boehner needs to be replaced,but I disagree that he doesn’t think the situation is so dire. What I can’t figure out is why... Is he just incompetent? Doesn’t he realize he has the power to stop a lot of these evil plots? Or is he in secret agreement with everything that’s happening and that is why he does nothing? Whatever the reason, he needs to go and now! He is the worst Speaker in my memory. Say what you will about his predecessors, including Pelosi, they were effective. He really hasn’t done much at all in his tenure.

Regarding Obama wanting to protect the unlawful votes of illegal immigrants in order to continue abusing government power, the states have amended the Constitution to protect voting rights only on the basis of race, sex, tax issues and age as evidenced by the 15th, 19th, 24th and 26th Amendments. Otherwise, there is nothing in the Constitution which prohibits states from not letting otherwise qualified people from voting if they can't show a valid photo ID.
In fact, in addition to being required to show a valid photo ID in order to vote, I think that the states also need to require candidate voters to pass a basic constitutional law test which emphasises the federal government's constitutonally limited powers before being allowed to vote. This would help to insure that legal and illegal voters know when federal candidate lawmakers try to get themselves elected by promising things, such as healthcare, which the federal government has no constitutonal authority to address regardless what activist justices say about Obamacare.
We need only ONE law passed. ALL Federal Elections REQUIRE PHOTO ID!

It is disgraceful and humiliating to watch Boehner and the boys kind of hiding out & not taking the fight with the same viciousness that the other side has. R's have Foxnews, the internet and talk radio to report their message..and I would argue that these outlets reach far more people than do MSM.
Therefore, I would urge Boehner to appoint an attack dog group...demand loudly from the MSM an equal amount of time and refute loudly and with vigor, EVERY attack on the Republicans from the MSM. Follow the progressive candidates around with a watchdog group attending every speech and appearance by a progressive...
In other words...treat the progressives in exactly the same way the progressives treat Conservatives.
