Oregon ping...

Albany is the next town over from mine & generally considered to be very conservative - at least compared to my town.

I find it interesting that this was in the UK Daily Mail. I never read the local rags, so probably wouldn’t have seen it otherwise.

“Drain Cleaner!!”

Just shows good sanitary habits for a student taking LGBT classes.

It’s time to start treating these people like they deserve - hose down a cell at Camp X-Ray and commune a tribunal for a quick execution.

If the police shoot a "menacing" dog it was a Pit Bull even if it was disguised as an Irish Setter.

Weekly, our police department gets dispatched to loose or stray dog calls where the dogs are always described by the callers as "pit bulls", 9 times out of 10 a loose dog call is described as a "pit bull" or "pit mix". This happens every week when the public calls in the stray dogs running about.
If and when we find these loose dogs they are always pomeranians and lab mixes and such.

So whatevs.....excuse me as I have to go on duty and shoot me a bunch of chihuahuas and irish setters tonight. Obama comes over our police radios and commands us to do so right before we make lists of everybody who has guns for the black helicopter agents.

I think you can buy jelled fuel - it is sold in little cans for heating food.

It’s more interesting to me that I can mix gasoline and styrofoam peanuts and make my own!

Now — where can I get little cans?

Hereabouts animal control used to respond to stray dog calls. They are not armed though an officer may accompany them. They are trained and pick up any stray. The only one that had to have the help of the armed officer was rabid and that was a lot of years ago. Now police use dogs for training officers to shoot living beings and Animal Control is only good for lending out raccoon/cat traps. The trained and skilled animal catchers still work there but their duties are confined to the pound.

It isn't that difficult. 5 minutes on the internet (or a trip to the bookstore/surplus store for you old school types) and a rummage through the kitchen, bathroom, or garage and you can make stuff to make the whole neighborhood shake. Even "harmless" ingredients like aspirin or coffee can make for a very bad day.

Many posters have talked about Vaseline, heavyweight motor oil, or packing peanuts/Styrofoam added in gas........egg whites will work well too.

It doesn't take a genius to build a bomb. If you can read at a 4th grade level and bake a cake you can make a bomb.

He’s creative.

Not really. Instructions on how to make bombs are all over the Internet. More like pissed off and driven.

It is some nasty stuff. It will stick to whatever it lands on, and putting water on it seems to make it flare up even more.

I used to make it when I was a kid, but I stopped when I burned a big old section of grass in the back yard. I knew I was gonna get in trouble. Sometimes I do not even know how in the heck I survived my younger years without serious injury or worse.

The article does not mention how he got caught beforehand. Did someone tip the cops off? Did he post about it on Twitter or something.

“25 years ago a movie called Heathers with ChristianSlater and Winona Ryder explored teen angst, bullying, and ended with Ryder stopping Slater from blowing up theHS gym during a school assembly. I was described as black comedy by Siskel and Ebert who gave it two thumbs way up.I thought the reaction was nuts and this movie could drive some bullied depressed kid over the edge.I often wondered how many of these teen mass killers have watched Heathers.”

I’ve always just assumed that “Heathers” provided the direct blueprint for what Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold did at Columbine.

BTW, Slater’s character was a total sociopath in the movie. While the rest were undergoing the teen angst thing, he was a stone killer. I just watched it again a couple of months ago after seeing it when it first came out. It’s still a powerful and disturbing movie. Even more so when you realize what it has inspired in real life.

“In Texas, if you’re in sports or band, you’re subject to a random drug test every six weeks.”

So much for being secure in your papers and your person.

Are the politicians in Austin or Washington, D.C. drug tested? How about state or federal judges? I hear the sound of crickets.

I think that by cynically mocking the “Drug Free Zone” sign, I attacked one of the moonbats’ basic tenets of faith, and that is that government is good and does well intentioned things.

To cut to the heart of the matter, Liberals don't really care so much if a policy or sign or whatever is effective, it is a question of how the policy, etc. makes them feel.

You splattered the feelgood all over with a concise dose of reality, and that is an unpardonable sacrilege to those folks.

Grant Acord, 17, was arrested on Thursday night after police received a tip that he was making a bomb to blow up West Albany High School.

I just want everyone to know that's not me, even though when a radio news reporter says this kid's name during a newscast, it sounds like they just said my Freeper Username. </close call>
