COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. A Democratic campaign office here usually would be quiet this time of year, a few weeks after the state's legislature wrapped up work and lawmakers headed off to summer vacations.

But even though it's not an election year, the office is in full campaign mode, with volunteers working the phones and reviewing maps in anticipation of a new front of modern campaigning -- the recall phase.

Since I don’t live in CO,,all I can do is repeat the names of the gun grabbers who have recall petitions that have been approved by the Colorado Sec of State

Democratic Sens. Angela Giron of Pueblo and Evie Hudak of Westminster.

Senate President John Morse of Colorado Springs, and Rep. Mike McLachlan of Durango.

That makes four.
Somehow I think it would be helpful to find some local CO blogs and make a statement. I am particularly interested in Hudak since she’s the monster who had the nerve to tell a female rape survivor that using a gun for defense may have worked in her case but “statistics are not in your favor.”

Out of all four that I found so far, Hudak is the one I really, really want to see recalled.

Fox repeated an error I’ve seen elsewhere: “Two of four recall efforts in Colorado already have evaporated from lack of support.”

Not accurate. Supporters were gearing up to recall other legislators as well, and they were asked to hold off for now and go for the leader of the senate, since he could muster a lot of “Bloomberg money” and they agreed.

If his recall succeeds, the out of state anti-gun money will evaporate, and then the recall of other Democrats will be a lot easier.

Maybe some of that Bloomberg money is what’s at work behind the rumor you are hearing from Fox,,,that other efforts have been abandoned.

I plan on going on Yahoo, or anywhere I can,,and posting that youtube link,,,and I don’t care if it’s on topic or not. The more eyes see it the better.

The effort against Mike McLachlan of Durango did fall short. That one was a tough one from the get go as the district is rural and spread over a very large area. The drop dead date was May 21 to have all the signatures in.

Morse is a different matter though. I think it safe to say that he will be facing a recall election despite all the dirty tricks his people have employed.

My brother was in a Pueblo gun store over the weekend. There was a line to sign the petitions. About 30 registered republicans were told they were not on the list of registered voters.

None of the registered dems had a problem.

Pueblo is an old steel mill town with heavy dem majorities. Speculation is a purge, done by demorat operatives.

Us endangered species types (native Coloradan) are not happy with the flood of locusts from the east and left coast.

What are these districts like in terms of D’and R’s? What’s the chance a recall is effective?

I'm wrong? What are you basing that on?

The left cheated in 2012. You think they're going to let their friends hang out to dry in Co?

I bet you're fun at casinos and carnivals.

Out of all four that I found so far, Hudak is the one I really, really want to see recalled.

I hope the Tea Party Express gets involved. Some of their board members are veterans of the successful Gray Davis recall in California.

Of course, you have to worry about Rats running around and making nasty little side deals with RiNOs to undercut the good guys -- "good government", "middle ground", "bipartisanship and statesmanship" and all that. In Texas, the Rats control the Texas house with only a 1:2 minority, through a RiNO house speaker who went to them to help him unseat the old conservative speaker.
