Officials: Man who knew Boston bombing suspect was unarmed when shot
Washington Post ^ | May 29, 2013 | By Sari Horwitz and Peter Finn

A Chechen man who was fatally shot by an FBI agent last week during an interview about one of the Boston bombing suspects was unarmed, law enforcement officials said Wednesday.

An air of mystery has surrounded the FBI shooting of Ibragim Todashev, 27, since it occurred in Todashev’s apartment early on the morning of May 22. The FBI said in a news release that day that Todashev, a former Boston resident who knew bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed during an interview with several law enforcement officers.

The FBI has provided few other details, saying that the matter is being investigated by an FBI review team that may not finish its probe for several months.

“The FBI takes very seriously any shooting incidents involving our agents and as such we have an effective, time-tested process for addressing them internally,” FBI spokesman Paul Bresson said in a statement Wednesday. “The review process is thorough and objective and conducted as expeditiously as possible under the circumstances.”

That’s a pretty interesting hypothesis.

But before the story ends, I’d like the truth.

I can handle the truth, but it seems that my government cannot handle the truth.

You mean the gubmint LIED to us when they told us he was wielding a KNIFE?

Big Brother wouldn’t LIE to us, would he?

I called it within an hour or two of the first report. Fish. No chance the FBI failed so miserably to secure an interviewee.

Right you are, on all counts.

And, WHY is what happened still a mystery? Aren’t FBI agents trained to be expert witnesses? Weren’t they there? Haven’t they had enough time to all record their testimony - multiple times.

They need time to carefully edit any video from cameras they had with them.

If they claim they didn't have recording equipment with them (which is most likely a lie), the question would be "why the frack not?"

Nothing by this regime is believable. That is the end take on all this stuff we’re seeing.

If we’re willing to live with never being able to trust anything, then we’re already there.

If we’re unwilling to live with that reality, then we’ve got to buck up and resist. We. Not Congress. Not the media. We. Because it is only when Congress and the media realize that we can do an end run around them, that they will ever stop their incessant buzzing around our eyes on stuff that doesn’t even matter.

We need to demand that Congress tell us the truth on who the Saudi “person of interest” really was.

We need to demand that Congress tell us the truth on who Obama really is.

When we find those things out, IRS, Benghazi, the Navy SEAL Team 6 deaths, Fast and Furious, and everything else about this regime will make sense.

Were Tamarlan and Djokar (or however you spell his name) shaved? Was Tamarlan in the supposed death photo?

(And I say supposed because, like Chris, I don’t think I can believe any stinkin’ thing this stinkin’ regime and all its peripheral people tell us; they are liars who know they can get away with any stinkin’ thing because of this stinkin’ media, stinkin’ Congress, and stinkin’ Hollywood-headed know-nothing public.)

But is the shaving only if it is a suicide attack? I thought the idea was to be ritually pure to meet the 72 virgins or something.

The spooks who risked 20 years in prison to give information to 10 key members of Congress are going to go out without another peep? The 10 members of Congress, Glenn Beck... all of them are going to just shrug their shoulders and give up?

I wasn’t aware of their connection to the Boston bombing investigation.

Part of the communist plan is to bombard the system beyond its ability to keep up. That’s the Cloward-Piven Plan for the economy and elections (and Obama was the attorney making the legal moves critical for that plan, in the only legal actions he took with his Saudi-funded, Ayers-implemented Harvard law degree). And they are definitely doing that with their corruption. Anybody who takes a week off of the constant INTERNET news loses out on major chunks of big stories.

We need to have people who just index the stories, with a post that ties together the significance of the stories indexed so that the general public doesn’t have to read everything and do their own processing to figure everything out, or slog through a lot of posts. An index post that can be amended to include updated info and documentation.

Doing that would take so much time and effort that a person couldn’t do justice to the stories if they tried to cover more than 2-3 different stories that way. My concentration has been on Obama’s documentation mess and the crimes committed to cover for that. But we need people to do the same kind of thing for the other issues as well - providing analysis and supporting documentation exposing the lies, shifting stories, etc.

It DOES appear that with the militarization of the police, they are getting WAY too trigger-happy. In Ft Worth, Texas, the police just shot & killed an old man who was just seen HOLDING a gun in his own garage! Why? Because they felt “threatened”.

Perhaps you are correct. OTOH, when the attack went down, and the FBI/local PD went into in full Dorner mode, every moment, every encounter, became an opportunity to die in jihad. OTOHOH, I have it on good authority that Saudi men typically keep their pubes shaved.

Well, butterdezillion, what it boils down to for me now is...

The batsh!t carzy, utterly insane and obviously psychopathic mother of the two “alleged” bombers now has more credibility than the FBI and the entire us government of lying bastards.

I have no way of actually knowing whether or not the conspiratorial accusations she made against our government are false, and that bothers the hell out of me.

There was that delay between the bombing and when the Tsarnaevs were publicly identified. I’ve got too much on my mind right now; I’ve forgotten how that chase went down. They stole somebody’s car and then let the guy loose; he called the cops and the cops got there before Tsarnaevs could dump that car and get away? Is that how it happened? Why didn’t the brothers just try to slip quietly out of Boston once they had been publicly identified? I’m trying to figure out when (if ever) they would have had an EXPECTATION of martyrdom for their 72 virgins. The actual Boston bombing wasn’t planned to be a suicide attack; everybody there (including Bin Laden’s son) was expecting to make it out alive because of the remote detonation).

I think there’s actually an Islamic ruling on men keeping the rectal area shaved - the result of a Muslim woman’s mockery of her rapists’ hygiene. Maybe they would all be happier if, instead of forcing everybody to shave as a cover-up, they just resolved to practice good hygiene and not rape women. I know - that’s the depraved counsel of an infidel woman so it’s beyond even considering...

Exactly. Who in the world could think that this reality is acceptable? Anybody who isn’t unspeakably angry and/or shaking in their boots at this prospect is either asleep or hopelessly insane.

I do not know, though I have seen some people on this website try and explain it away, and I baffled by it.

The fact of the matter is that the FBI is now a bunch of liars, just like the rest of our government, and I cannot take it anymore.

Reality is whatever they say it is, except of course that it isn’t reality at all.

[It appears from the story that the agent ended up with “...cuts and abrasions....” after he and the suspect were left in the room alone for a minute when other LEOs stepped out.]

Another possibility—and I'm not defending the bad guy—is the agents left the room so the lone agent could apply some physical persuasion like a Taser to the suspect because the interview bogged down. By leaving the room they wouldn't be witnesses.

Somebody tried to post on my blog that it is pointless to pursue a criminal investigation of Obama’s BC forgery because he/she forged the BC and the FBI knows and will cover for Obama and those involved in the forgery.

I already knew that, because when I reported to the FBI they lied to me about what the FBI does and doesn’t investigate - a lie that a Lincoln police officer also recognized when I told him about it. The police officer also recognized that the NE AG’s office lied to me about who can report crimes, etc.

IOW, they are all lying to us. Constantly. Aside from the Lord (if He hasn’t given up on the depraved people we have become) and some of the rank-and-file law enforcement folks, we who desire the rule of law are alone. The leadership is all a bunch of liars, and they get to tell the rank-and-file folks what they can and can’t do and say. I can say with certainty that Obama would have been arrested before ever being elected POTUS if critical LE leaders had not made political decisions to keep the rank-and-file folks from doing their jobs.

This is where we are at. The entire system is taken hostage by political liars. And we need to figure out what to do about it.

We don't know when or if the Tsarnaevs shaved their bodies. I agree that they weren't expecting to die in jihad from the bombings (the only guaranteed way a muslim has of getting into that whorehouse-in-the-sky they call paradise) but that expectation changed when their photos were released.

Time for a quick whole body shave and an attempt to get out of Dodge or die trying?
