I suppose the writer of this article would criticize Jesus for talking to tax collectors and prostitutes, the poor, the helpless, and the downtrodden as well.
The greatest of us speak to the rest of us, from a position of equality, not as masters and servants, as the writer would have us assume.

I don’t recall Palin endorsing O’Donnell. Could be wrong.IIRC, she did.
The guy O'Donnell primaried was a true Republican-in-name-only....he voted with the Dems constantly. But he had the GOP-e's strong support because they considered him a guaranteed seat in the Senate. They didn't seem concerned about how he would vote on legislature.
Governor Palin decided to upset the apple cart. Because what representatives stand for matters to her.
It doesn't show she's scraping the bottom of the barrel at all, it just shows what a class person she is. She's willing to speak at a high school graduation, not caring about the size of the school, or what anyone there could do for HER.
For anyone who reads this after her speech, just know that she had a very special reason for coming to the small town to address the graduates. And if you watch the video of her speech, your eyes will get misty as mine did. I won't tell you the reason, but here is the link.
