An anti-immigration reform group has put up a billboard on I-75 in Ocala attacking Sen. Marco Rubio for promoting "amnesty."
"When 20 million American citizens and legal workers are unemployed or desperately trying to find full time jobs it is both callous and irresponsible for Florida Senator Marco to sponsor an immigration bill that will flood the labor market with 33 million foreign workers over the next ten years," said Jack Oliver of Floridians for Immigration Enforcement.
Oliver is citing a study prepared for Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., who has been the leading opposition to the immigration reform bill in Washington. The study's conclusions are disputed.
Floridians for Immigration Enforcement has been on Rubio's case since his days as Florida House speaker, accusing him of holding up a series of bills that would have cracked down on illegal immigration.
The new effort shows that for all Rubio has done to assuage opposition to reform, it continues to persist. It also underscores the various positions he has taken on immigration, from a moderate voice in the Legislature to adopting a harder stance in his U.S. Senate run to the present.
"Marco Rubio's backing for this mass amnesty also is a complete betrayal of the solemn promise he made to me, other members of our board, and several Tea Party leaders that he would never support amnesty when he met with us privately face to face in 2009," said Oliver.
Exactly my take. I been exposing Rubio amnesty lies one by one. I see that exactly as you do, the arrogance of dishonesty is what really irks me.
I can tolerate disagreement as that is life but I cant tolerate deception used against me.
Dishonesty is the name of the game in Washington. If someone tells the truth, they must look at them as if they have two heads.
Dishonesty is a weapon in the political war/world.

When asked if all these scandals will wreck the bipartisan immigration reform Schumer replied:
“No, in fact three of those Republicans (Rubio, McCain and Grahamnesty) working with us on immigration reform have been the most critical (on TV) of the Obama administration of all the Republicans, but they realize how important it is to get immigration reform done and to not let this stop them”...... then Schumer went on about how the GOP needs it (IR) to win future elections, as if Schumer gives a flying .xxxx... about the GOP winning elections.
That is the scam folks, RINOs bark ‘woof woof’ at Obama and do nothing to hurt him and we wont care what Democrat bill they pass that Obama wants.
It’s all a big game to these guys.
Rubio has to keep Schumer Durbin and Obama happy while convincing us that he is against them and that this amnesty bill that they want so badly they really hate.
I sure don’t buy arguments designed to fool the gullible.

And I notice there is the endless search for individual human saviour to save us. In history that has usually ended in disaster.

Now they are trying to hustle us with lies and black mail us with obama in the white hut. They don’t think we will leave the plantation with obama in teh WH and IRS/gun control/DOJ on the table.
They better be careful. This is the nuclear option. Passing amnesty now with GOP support will blow up the base for good. Is that what they really want? Are they that arrogant and stupid?

My thoughts are that while Rubio is out there being critical of Obama making a big show of it Schumer has to explain to his Dems why they are not responding to him, so he says stuff like this.
Its a bipartision scam. Schumer was caught on mike asking 'Do our Republicans get a pass on this one?'

I am furious at Levin and Rush for doing everything from “stroking” Rubio, to calling him a friend. I’m done with them, and don’t see why others here are not done with them as well. NOTHING is more important than stopping amnesty!

Careful. We are being hustled by beltway slicksters. What I fear may happpen is:
1)Rubio withdraws support saying the bill needs more border security
2)Bill passes Senate
3)Bonehead passes something in house with fake border security
4)conference bill keeps 90% of the Senate bill and adds the fake border security
5)Rubio, after much strutting about, now votes for the bill and it passes the senate
6)Boehner caves and lets the Dems pass it in the House.
7)The kenyan signs the bill and blasts the GOP as racist.
8)Conservatives revolt and there is a 3rd party candidate in 2016
Levin hammered the Senor Rubio “conservative” ads pretty hard at the beginning of his show tonight. He is clearly losing patience with him.
Not bad. I can see it.
Except that part where after they pass it they step up the colorful Rhetoric against Obama even more than now and we are lectured that anyone is better than the Dem so we must hold our nose and vote for the GOP again no matter what.
